I've already got Takenoko regular version and TTR Anniversary. I was looking at the Star Wars game but it looks a bit involved, I might struggle to play it with people.

Has anyone played Zombicide? It looks pretty good but the price always put me off.

I've not bought anything for a while but have just seen and read a couple of reviews of Black Fleet. Anyone got it/played it ?

Looks like a must buy! :help:

Oddly enough, it was the game of the week at my local tabletop event last night, but I didn't go - so can't help there!

I watched the SUSD review of it, and was more intrigued by Survive: Escape From Atlantis that they reviewed afterward.

**** sakes. Just ordered carcassonne : builders and traders as new version is in stock at games lore. Then I added on dominion and pandemic as both seem to be good two player games and makes it easier to buy now and spread the postage cost.

Another 70 quid spunked! This sub forum has ruined me.

Package arrived today. Thought dominion has a big box full of stuff, but when I opened it is literally a few decks of cards. 30 quid is steep for just cards. But, if it's as good as everyone says, I'll forgive and forget!

I thought the same, but it's worth every penny. If it cost £50 I wouldn't have even considered it though.

You'll be spending another 30 notes on an expansion soon enough :)

Dominion looks confusing. I've watched a how to play on YouTube :/ guess like all games, you've just gotta pay through a few rounds.

It's really not. Once you've had a quick read of the fairly short instructions and started an introductory game, it's pretty self explanatory. The cards speak for themselves more or less.

Has anyone played Patchwork?

Just been reading up and am seriously tempted, so I'll need a good reason not to buy it :suspect:

I see the English version of Mysterium is out. It plays slightly differently, improvements for the better I think. I already own the Polish version though....... Shall I???

I ordered the English version after watching the Drive Thru (I think that reviewer usually does a great job at presenting the games) micro review of the new version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SWcApITiV4w

That micro review focuses quite a bit on the differences in the English version and he calls it the definitive version. For those who want to know more about the original version, the original review was here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CidsDgI4PzI

I didn't own the Polish version. So the choice was easy for me. But you might want to go through the video and decide whether all the differences in components and rules are worth it for you.
