Tabletop Gaming magazine

Post by Steve Jackson »

I haven't seen it myself, I saw it mentioned over on RLLMUK, but apparently a brand new board gaming magazine has hit the shelves called Tabletop Gaming. I'll check my local WHSmith at the weekend and see if I've got the nerve to take it to the till and buy it. Stupid board gaming stigma!

Has anyone here bought it, if so what do you think, any good?

I bought it, it's pretty good. The editor says it was developed as a one-off special but there's been enough interest from advertisers and devs to make it periodical.

It's got a good number of short reviews of the most types of games, plus a few long form articles on some of the more popular games like Netrunner, X-wing, King of Tokyo and so on.

I think it's well worth the £5.25, and if it does well enough to guarantee another issue I'll certainly be happy.

Sounds interesting! Heading to supermarket at lunch to see if it's there. Might be a while before I'm in a WH Smiths though.

The latest issue made an appearance in my local Tesco today. I've been reading it on the iPad since it came out, hopefully this is a sign it is doing well!

I was surprised to see it in my Tesco too! Been picking mine up from Smiths, enjoying reading them.
