Beer52 'Free' 8 Beers including free postage

Post by ClarkNovember »

I keep getting sent golden tickets which entitle a new subscriber 8 free craft beers and free postage. It's a subscription package but you aren't obliged to spend any money with them: you can just cancel once you've received your first case.

This offer is slightly better than the promotions they run as you normally get free beer but have to pay postage.

Here are the links in case anyone fancies it? The links are single use so first come first serve.

How hard is it to cancel? Do you have to speak to anyone?

Funny I was thinking about signing up last night - glad I waited as I just used the 3rd code.

Many thanks

No I think you just do it via your user page. They don't seem to be set up as a hassle the customers type of company. My experience over the last 6 months has been very positive.

I seem to have quite a few (not sure whether they'll just keep giving me more)

You can postpone a month online but you do have to call them to cancel. It's not difficult to call them though and they don't lay it on thick to try and keep you.

I really enjoyed being a subscriber with them for more than two years but they let me down twice in six months so had to cancel. Judging by most people's feedback, I just got unlucky.

I found them a pain to try and cancel from before when I tried them.

I got these before, but I cancelled it. Main issue was I wasn't liking alot of the beers, and any I did like , I was only getting 1, and when you get a taste for 1 and can't have another, its annoying.

I decided to just find a supermarket craft beer I like, and just buy a bunch of those as the choice from the shops and local off licenses has fairly rocketed .

My current favourite is the following from Lidl and its bloody lovely :

To be fair if you just want to buy multiples of the same beers, then Beer52 really isn't for you. It's a beer discovery club so the point is to have completely different beers every time.

Also being the annoying pedant that I am, nothing brewed for Lidl with the Hatherwood label is "craft" beer in the slightest as it's mass produced by Shepherd Neame.

I honestly don't know how anyone can enjoy beer from a can (unless that was the only choice on a hot day) ... all I have ever been able to taste is the aluminium ...

They solved that a while ago. I think they spray the insides of cans to stop that happening.

Some of the top craft beer places now actually suggest drinking theirs from the can rather than the glass..

I have a little device that cleanly removes the entire top of the can

Its bloody lovely

I went through the whole craft beer thing a few years back, but every time i wanted to sit back and relax with a drink I kept getting a hankering for a mass produced lager .

Just so much easier to drink :D

Have to admit I have gone off the real ale to some extent. The complete roll of the dice over whether something would be nice. My brother is massively into it, I could produce a beer myself that was awful, as long as it was one he hadn't had before he'd have to try it.

Most of the stuff nowadays just seems to be fancy labels and mass produced beer.
