Religous board game?

Post by jockosjungle »

Bit of a strange request, but my brother and his family are pretty serious Catholics. Can anyone recommend a board game that might be suitable. They have little kids so something with them in mind would be good.

Something like Good Samaritan in The Simpsons but a bit less sarcastic (unless that game actually exists)

Are you looking for something which is specifically Catholic?

Or just something with strong morals / teachings?

Or something abstract without theme that may offend?

It doesn't have to be overly Catholic as such, just something with a christian/bible theme.

I think the best I've seen is Bible Scrabble or Bible Cranium.

I tried to market a Christian Science version of Operation once. That was a bit of a disaster.

Haha, thanks for the suggestions. I noticed on Amazon sticking in bible game seemed to produce a few more results. I'll take a look through!

That might have been funny if it hadn't been mentioned by the OP ;)

Not Zombie Dice then?

The Dice Tower might have some good recommendations, Tom who runs it is a Christian pastor so might have done a round-up of religious games.

I've just spotted this on Kickstarter, might be worth keeping an eye on it? https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/greatboy/great-boy-the-game
