Sorry Torf, somehow missed your reply!

Have since bought Stone Age; fancy a game?

Might look into the other two as well...

What do you think of Stone Age? I notice you didn't say you love it in the post above.

I'm enjoying our game but I'm not sure about its longevity for me. Either I'm missing something, or else it's just a bit dull (especially when compared to Agricola).

I downloaded San Juan too; have you tried the multiplayer on that? Looks like it might not support asynchronous play though.

Just not played loads of Stone Age, maybe a handful of games. I suspect it may be better with three or more.

Shame that no async for San Juan. That would work really well.

San Juan is great though just v cpu. I play quite a bit that way. Good varying AI.

Fair comment re 3+.

Yeah, saw you sent me an invite just now, but the notification was swiftly followed by a cancellation one, presumably when you cancelled the game or excited the app.

Agreed the AI play seems pretty good. I'm still getting familiar with the cards but I like the game. Would love to play against a human!

Think someone mentioned it went into reprint recently?

If you can get a copy it works really well for two to four players. I went on a three year losing streak though! (About 15 games!)

That was a close game Torf! Got better towards the end I think, perhaps as I started to look more at what you were doing as well as my own plans.

It's frustrating how you can't see how many technologies or specialists your opponent has collected, so it's hard to tell how you're really doing against each other. Then again I quite like that; ire makes the end of the game more exciting.

Well I never. TTR Pocket Has been updated. Bug fix for iOS 9 only apparently, but slightly updated for larger phone screens too (even if they've added borders instead of making it properly widescreen).

Hopefully they'll fix the (much buggier) Europe version as well.

@Torf, is our Stone Age game still working for you? It's showing as your turn for me, and has done for a while, but I see the dev has posted a news item in the app saying that there are issues with multiplayer and iOS 9. So maybe our game is broken?

I've always found them dodgy for this game. Hoping they'll fix it soon, as they've said they're looking at it.

Fancy a Stone Age decider Torf? I've been trying to invite you to a game but can't get it to work for some reason...

Yeah, it's borked. Their Facebook page is full of people complaining.

They've recognised this in a recent news item in the app, so I guess we'll have to wait for an update (I won't hold my breath though!)
