A photo a day for July

I know it's a bit late in the day, but..

For those people who feel that even though they've bought the all the lovely new camera gear, their inspiration seems to have evaporated (for example).

So the idea is to take and post a single photo a day for a whole month, no exceptions. Don't try and agonise over the small details, try and have some fun again with your camera, whether it's film, digital, point & shoot or DSLR.

Obviously digital will give you an instant result for posting online, whereas with film you have to finish the whole roll, get the film processed, printed or scanned.. this can take days or weeks. Digital is the favoured option (unless you're a dab hand with a Polaroid camera).

To keep a chronological log of photos I have opened an account with www.flickr.com/ (free and wasy to do)and others use an online blog such as www.photoblogs.org to host their photos with accompanying comments.

Any other ideas, we'll add to as we go along.

Any takers?

OK - I'll give this a go - I'm going to be mega-busy with photo work this month anyway, so count me in.

OK, Sounds like a bit of a wheeze.....no actually sounds quite a challenge, but I'm up for it. Glad you had the idea Boink, I'm stuck in work all day thinking of, amongst other things, photography, but don't get any free time to actually take any photos in the evening, what with the kids etc....I'm sure it's the same for everyone with families, just have to be a little more creative with my time.

Day 2.

Popped around my Dad's home to help with his housework and took a stroll through his garden. Just about to run though what I've taken today.

Day 2 - grim day down here so I can't get out.

That must mean macro shots of a very grumpy cat

My gallery for this month of images will be here = http://radiohead.smugmug.com/gallery/630686

That's pretty cool, Sam.

EDIT: Have uploaded today's photo. Was messing working on a couple of photos, but this one is (99%) straight from the camera.

Waay, I got enough photos for a slideshow.

Well I missed the first day and I doubt I'd get a chance to do a photo every day unless it's just endless photos of things around the house. I could always do a photo of my dinner

Left this a bit late today so you're gonna get the cat expressing his opinions

Nothing yet! Christ it's almost 9pm and haven't even considered food

Hmm, maybe a curry . Mind you that'll take me ages as I do them properly (none of your supermarket jobs ).

Missed day 1, but managed an hour or so today to take a couple of images of Mrs swsxp02's flowers. HERE'S my folder of images that I'll be using for this month.

....this month.....hmmmm, is this gonna turn into a regular monthly thing? That means an image EVERY day till whenever....
