Well, the kids need to build a multimedia presentation of some description using a web page programme or Powerpoint.
I do expect that they plan it out, use buttons, record their own sounds and possibly do a simple animation. We'll probably do Ancient Greek storybooks, telling the story of Medusa or something like that.
If you're interested, here's further details on Year 6 expectations for this particular unit of work.

Amazon, surely.
Search for an hour to find your product, then click 6 different links to find out your buying it from Joe Bloggs who cellophane's his "new" DVDs at home before shipping them to you 3 weeks later.
Oh, and messy as hell.

I kiss you and I leik milk are both classics but they're probably unsuitable since for some inexplicable reason, authors of appalling yet mercifully brief vanity pages like to mention their fondness for the ladies about half way down their masterpiece of web design.

speaking of poor websites for design companies (I use that in the loosest possible term for that adveb third trimester abortion of a web developer above), but this one has always slightly bugged me, it's just soooo bloody annoying with the voiceover. They do decent print stuff too which makes you wonder how on earth that site is acceptable:

That's more of a business model issue than the site - which I think is pretty good. I also totally hate their Marketplace though - it's so hard to actually buy something from Amazon these days who I regard highly as a supplier. It does their brand no favours whatsoever. Their deeplinks/affiliate links are a bit messy also.

Jonnyrep, I was chosen to be part of the EdExcel exam for GCSE, A Level (A1/A2) and BTEC. The link to my page giving info for the course run by BizEd is here. I obviously cannot give you the answer to the A-Level paper question . It is NOT 42
I am lined up next to Easyjet, Sainsbury's, McDonalds, Domino Pizza, Boots, Carphone Warehouse ... and LINGsCARS.com, as a case study. Hahahahaha! Gotta laugh. Stelios, what are you doing over there with that toy aeroplane? Jamie, matey geezer, stop making that Domino pizza at £2/hr and get your cor-blimey scooter back down to Sainsbury's.
The course is 2-years old so now a lot of the info is out of date, but still appropriate.
Good luck with the kids project Jonnyrep!!! You can email me if you need any other info. I have loads of stuff I can send you.

I apologise for not liking your site, but to me it is just confusing and if I was looking for a car, would not (be able to) spend more than a few minutes on your site.
I'm just a lowly IT Manager, managing the IT for a £20M business by myself.
However, it's a once seen never forgotten site, and I guess if that's the purpose then it serves it well but as a study in well balanced website design, it's not a text book example.

That's if they could find the livechat link... I'm still looking.
EDIT: Found it! It's right in the middle. That was like Where's Wally!

My building society's site is terrible:
http://www.krbs.co.uk/
It's a nightmare to find any information and they have the dreaded Flash intro landing page. YUK!
They also own another site with an inexplicable under construction page:

I admire the fact that he gives a lot of money to charity, I'm just pretty sure there are several million ways better that that.
Oh and for even more horrifying pictures of him and his fiancee, then click on the link near the middle bottom of the page.

I was bored earlier so tried to make my blog page as bad as I could, but no matter how hard I tried it wasn't as terrible as some of the others!
http://www.goatkarma.com/bad/bad.php
My inner geek made it 100% validated code too, until i added some nice background music! You'll be humming that bad boy all day!
