I thought it was OK. It's certainly no OC but I found it more watchable than Gossip Girl, even if it also has the same blogging idea. I'll give it a few more episodes and see how it goes.

It is better than Gossip Girls, everything is more upbeat, Gossip Girl as a whole is more dramatic and in a way depressing.
I am not sure about better or worst than the OC yet, i mean it took me about 10 episodes to like to OC but this is wayyy much easier to get into, everyone seems just so sterotypical, you;d think the writers have a template of each of the characters and just cut and paste them into the script. Will see how it develops in the long run but Episode 1 is certainly started off good !

hmmm, let's see...
It's bitchy, vacuous, everyone looks plastic perfect, Principal dilf and Mr Matthews need me as filling in their sandwich and Lucille Bluth rules, so yeah, I like totally dug it!
Great soundtrack too and the line about Andrea Zuckerman's daughter was very funny! "What is that girl, like 30?". Also love the title sequence and I'm so glad they've kept the original theme tune!
but uh Naomi love, 1987 called, it wants it's scrunchy crunchy perm back!

Lucille is practically the same character
I enjoyed it, yes lots of fitties. It is weird seeing a few of them playing college students though, and they all look very very thin, especially the blog girl who was in Reaper for a while, maybe my memory deceives me but she seems to have shrunk.
I think the theatre/druggy girl is the hottest, and then blog girl and then the blonde girl from Nip/Tuck.

Certainly slick, plenty of eye-candy & decent soundtrack, but it sure aint no OC. Even Gossip Girl is more entertaining. The writing lets it down. Glad to see Jenny Garth still looking good, unfortunately the same can't be said about Shannon. Thankfully we don't have to endure Tori though.
Was it just me that got an Anne Hathaway vibe from the lead actress? ... and I have to agree with regards to the blog lass. She looked much better in Reaper & is way too skinny in this.

Watchable so far. Kellys mom back to being a drunk again, and I hope they aren't implying that Dylan is the father of Kelly's son and therefore is basically a child abandoner. He wouldn't do that.

You know you're getting old & shouldn't really be watching these kinda shows when you think that Kelly is infinitely hotter than any of the anorexic teen stars. Anyone know if she's in it for the full series or just a recurring guest-star?

i felt like that when i started fancying the dad in "gossip girl" though to be fair he probably is my age - ohhh 4 years older in fact
just watched the first one and the 2nd one is on, its very easy watching. And how cool is it that we have Erin Silver and Ms zuckerman (if back again after brief cameo, same with Nat)
who is lucille?
And thinking about it, its far more adult - hugh grant type antics within 5 mins, talk of penises, shooting porn movies. Are they just expecting us 30 somethings to watch it and no actual teens.

That's the character Jessica Walter (the Gran in 90210) played in Arrested Development.

just gave up on it Got to ep 4 and just realised it was absolute tripe. The storylines, acting, people, everything about it was just annoying! Shame, as it showed promise (and the first few episodes were way more interesting than the incredibly boring S2 of Gossip Girl).
The best thing in it was the Grandma, although even then she totally overracted, but I guess that's what she was meant to do(being an old actress). Also: anyone notice that all the girls are so bloody skinny, not just skinny but one-apple-a-day-skinny? next time you are watching checkout their arms and legs, they look like 10yr old gymnasts.

Well now, after 5 episodes let's see how we're getting on...
It's really rather rubbish isn't it, yet I can't stop watching!
The writing sucks, the acting by these bobble-head anorexics is awful (they seem to think arm flapping and looking constipated is a good substitute for skills)!
Why isn't Naomi a grade-A bitch? She was supposed to be wasn't she? C'mon, let that inner **** out already!
As for Brenda and Kelly acting all resposible and grown-up, wtf?! We remember how you used to be you hags, you can't fool us!
But what I really love is that Mr Matthews is played by a 23 year old and most of the "kids" are played by 22 year olds!
