Do you have the ice racket? You can avoid them by using trick shot.

I do have the ice racket.
And it never occurred to me to try trick shot when there was no ball to hit - thanks!!

Game is a lot harder than I expected from a Mario game tbh, but seems to be just the right amount of challenge

I am on the free trial, the NES stuff is really cool and I thought the voice chat worked incredibly well in MK8. I will probably get a years sub.

I'd rather buy a NES Mini if I was interested in the NES stuff

I can't remember the last time I turned my Switch on (probably when I finished Mario Odyssey), and never used online when it was free.

I've got both NES and SNES classics, if I want to play old Nintendo games.

I think Smash Bros is going to make or break this service.

I already have both. But I prefer playing them on the Switch.

Absolutely, and proud lol. Actually I just find playing via the classics annoying cause both my cats just go crazy at a cable that runs across the living room and attack it mercilessly.

I guess I could but some wireless controllers but meh I already have s Switch.

Bloody loving Mario Rabbis but approaching the end... Is there anything similar on Switch? I don't see Xcom sadly

I assume you got the recent Donkey Kong expansion?

There's Steamworld Heist which is side-on XCOM. Valkyrie Chronicles 4 in a couple of days which is over the shoulder XCOM.

Then there's less similar, but still in the genre of tactical turn based games, such as Disgaea 5, Banner Saga, Into The Breach. And there's going to be a Fire Emblem next year - which is largely the reason I bought a switch. FE is the best.

Fire Emblem is a tactics game with unique units that carry over from mission to mission that have RPG levelling up and perma death.

Note that the current FE game on the switch is not a real FE game. It's an action based spin off.

Whilst refreshing my memory for that list I discovered 'God Of Wars'. So... yeah... that's on order.
