Star Wars: Clone Wars. Where in the timeline?

Sky Movies have just premiered Star Wars: The Clone Wars, the computer animated 3D series (I'm led to believe there are six episodes, yes?).

Ok, now I likes me Star Wars but can someone tell me where this fits in with the other classically animated Clone Wars series from the Cartoon Network (before, after or in place of) AND where they both fit in with Star Wars: The Clone Wars, the full length feature which just had a theatrical release.

I know they are all taking place between "live" episodes 2 and 3.

The new series is not exactly meant to tie in exactly with the older clone wars series, but if you really want to know:

Episode 2
Clone wars 2003 series Episodes 1 - 21 part 1 until Anakin is knighted
Clone wars animated movie
Clone wars 2008 series
Clone wares 2003 series 21 part 2 - 25 - lead into the start of episode 3
Revenge of the Sith

I'm glad it's on Movies personally, no adverts and I'm on Virgin Media, no Sky One!

Not just six episodes - there's a whole season - I think they've only got as far as episode 5 or 6 in the USA, and they're showing them one a week (although the first week had two episodes) so at some point Sky will have to pause, as I doubt they'll let them show new episodes before the USA...

Lucas is planning on around 100 episodes by the time he is done with it, same as the Live Action Series

Yeah - I think it's 22 in the first season and they're already working on season 2.

I didn't see the movie, which was apparently originally the first 3 episodes, but i've really enjoyed the ones on tv so far, especially the Yoda ep.

I'm seriously enjoying this, way better and more enjoyable than the prequal triliogy. No jar jar, anikin is not wooden (the voice acting is superb) and the characters are great and good action. If Lucus just had the clone wars as the backdrop to the whole prequal trilogy then it would have been easily as good as the OT.

I have now watched up to S1x07 (took the dip after enjoying the theatrical release) and really enyoing it.

Can't get my head around to overly comedic droid army though and the introduction of Asoka seems just for the kiddies.

I actually love the artistic style of the CGI and would seriously consider the Blue Rays of the series.
