I’ve just used Allkeys to get Skyrim download for the equivalent of £30.00. They send you through a profile you have to create on the switch and then you go to the Eshop using the profile and “redownload” the game - it’s then playable under any profile.

Seriously, looking at the allkeys site downloadable switch games a very cheap - saving between £15-20 off of either physical or eshop versions.

Sounds a bit dodgy to me - that sort of thing used to happen on xbox, but people would get stung by them changing the account password so you lost access to your game and they could sell on again.
I don't know whether Nintendo have the same checks in place as MS but surely only a matter of time?

That sounds dodgy as hell. Do they supply you with a password to log into this profile?

Yes, I’ve just changed the password on Nintendo com and the download is continuing - all seems legit. It’s through a company called PSNGames.Org. Decent reviews online with a couple of disgruntled people but now I’ve changed the Nintendo log in details they can’t revoke the game.

There's some Steam 'deals' on ebay where your not allowed to change the account password and have to play offline (cause they're selling the same single copy to other people lol). May as well just pirate the thing for nowt if you're gonna do that.

Alternatively, and more likely, it could be a region thing - also available for Steam via ebay. They're adding it to your account in a cheaper region where the purchase is region locked but the playing isn't. You have a choice of handing over your main profiles login (lol) or a new profile that will have just that game on it. I wouldn't recommend this on Steam -it's a banning offense.
On other platforms, basically you're paying someone to do something you could do yourself if you're happy to violate the region restrictions anyway.

If allkeys is allkeyshop, they're not the most legitimate search engine anyway! They specialise in key marketplaces and grey sites. Don't get me wrong... I use them. But I know what I'm getting into!

This seems like it as I’ve had to download from a French language site. Now I’ve changed the password and it’s not an online game - I don’t know if they could revoke. If they do, I’m £30 down and a lesson learned - if not, happy days for me and Skyrim.

Just seen that the new Zelda DLC has been released today, and Link has a motorbike!!! I may need to re-buy it!

I hadn't. I'm just not that much of a fan of either. Xenoblade 2 has had mixed reviews also.

Mixed reviews? A mere 3 out of 70 reviews are < 7/10. Tough crowd.

XC2 gets 7 or 7.5 out of 10 from pretty much all of the major review sites except IGN. They're the ones that I trust (not the websites that I've never heard of who are giving it 9s).

There are clearly much better games currently available for the Switch.

7 or 7.5 is bad? I never understood that kind of grading.

It's not bad. But review sites using the "out of ten" scale rarely give anything less than five these days. Based on that, 7.5 is average (especially when surrounded by so many 8s and 9s from the same review sources).

Agree with this. <5 is generally only used as a statement so the scale is really 5-10 so 7.5 is very average

I don't agree. I think it's the best game on the Switch. But... tastes vary.

It's not typical Nintendo fare. It doesn't have the... I dunno... child like magic of their mega hits. A lot of sites describe it as a 'hardcore RPG'. It'd probably find a better home on PC.

As for the reviews - you yourself linked metacritic where I quoted the high scores from... http://www.metacritic.com/game/switc...critic-reviews
80% of its reviews are 8/10 or higher
