98 - no Blade Runner or, would you believe, Gone With the Wind.

Baby Face was shown by the BBC roundabout 1979/80. I know because it was one of the first movies I recorded onto VHS. I think Channel 4 also screened it a couple of years ago, but I'm not certain.

Needless to say the BFI database is incomplete then...

A meagre 26, I'm (almost) ashamed to say... Got about 10-15 of the rest of the movies on DVD, though, but haven't seen them yet.

A satisfying 69 of the top 100 but a meagre 342 of the top 1000.

As I was scrolling through the list I noticed a couple of oddities though. gor example - of Kieslowski's Three Colour trilogy I only noticed White (the least cited of the set) although I could be wrong. I also don't remember seeing Emire Strikes Back or Return Of The Jedi which I find odd.

So maybe only one film from each trilogy is inlcuded as being representative of the set?
