Films you could not watch

I went to see All about the Benjamins in LA the other day. It's the new Ice Cube film. I found it easy going and very enjoyable. Anyway, one of the trailers relates to the thread. It was for a film called Eight legged freaks. I have a fear of spiders, but was able to watch Arachnaphobia. But one thing's certain - I sure won't be watching this! The trailer scared me s***less. It is full of spiders up to 100 ft, and looking very realistic. If I watched this I would have nightmares every night of my life.

Are there any films out there thet you could not watch?

Any of Bill Murray's recent stuff

Seriously though, I know what you mean about spiders but I'd rather watch Eight Legged Freaks than Arachnophobia. Eight Legged Freaks is a blatent popcorn b-movie. But Arachnophobia is much more believable, not only in terms of plot but also the actual spiders in the film are just a common house spiders.

/decides to go to sleep with the light on.

Mr Stanton thinks that Eight Legged freaks looks like a damn good fun movie. Can't wait to see it.

Used to go out with a girl who would completely freak out if she saw as much as a picture of a shark.

The only thing Mr Stanton fears is Freedie Prinz Jr films.

Is this the one that was called Arach Attack (or something) until, post Sep 11th, the studio felt people might mistake the title as a reference to Iraq.

Like the Gulf War never happened!

Yeah, same film. It looks good, advance reviews have been positive and the studio's moved it up to a July release date which means they have faith in it.

Arachnophobia's the only film I've ever seen which had mass walk-outs. I saw it at the Odeon Leicester Square and the amount of people (mostly women) who got up and left during the scary bits was unreal. Cool film though, John Goodman's line after squashing a tiny spider ("Yeah, I'm bad") still makes me laugh.

I have had Audition for a few months now and had a look at the Piano Wire scene.

Just too **** scared to watch it in full now.

My mate refuses to watch Ring after I told him the synopsis of the plot and the consequences of watching it.

Not telling you. Find out yourself if you dare. The back of the DVD has a disclaimer from the publisher about it too!!!

Oh, and while you're at it - go to a mirror and say "Candyman" 3 times.

Nobody laugh but I still haven't got past the first 10 mins of Blade. Hate the hospital scene at the beginning. Freaks me out.

I had to turn Salo off, it is probably the most disturbing film I have ever ever (can't say it enough) ever seen.

That film where Robin Williams has to go to hell to get his wife back. The worst film I have ever seen. Ever.
