Well, I guess Sasha's not going to survive this season...

This whole half season has been massively disappointing. I thought the cliff hanger at the start was rubbish to begin with, like they just wanted to copy GOT with Jon Snow.

The biggest problem has been it's all so obvious, clearly eventually the groups will team up to get rid of Negan. But it's like the show runners feel they have to take their sweet time getting their to 'earn it'.

What happens after Negan will be far more interesting, we've not yet had multiple groups who are more or less ok knowing each other. Seeing them trying to have some kind of peace, whilst intrinsically not trusting each other would be something new. Instead there's a good chance we stuck with Negan for another season and a half.

Sorry, was just being silly. Looking forward to seeing it later.

Update: It was actually pretty good, felt like very different to the dullfest of the first half.

Is anyone still watching?

How convenient. You spend all day trying to build up an army without much success then a ready-made fully armed gang turn up. I wonder what that lot are gonna do other than provide the much needed cannon fodder for taking on the saviours.

I was grinning like Rick when watching the car/wire vs Zombie scene. Silly, but highly entertaining!

Had a proper WTF! moment yesterday when I learned that the character, Heath who went missing recently in this, is the lead in the new 24:Legacy show.

I had watched the first three episodes of 24 without having a clue...

But why did they need to do that? They then ran from their cars to the waiting truck and the truck then drove the same way they had just travelled in the 2 cars.

Why didn't the truck do that in the first place and just pick them up?

Well, someone clearly watched Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome before writing this weeks episode.

Kinda loved the random cameo from the Smokey & The Bandit truck too. Shame they didn't include Burt Reynolds & Jerry Reed walkers in the scene though.

& that reunion...

All it needed was a 1960's sci-fi sound track and it would have been perfect Bowl haircuts and silent, catatonic minions... wtf. Jumped the shark.

Apart from the opening episode this season so far has been a bit 'meh'.

I thought this episode was decent, certainly an improvement over the prior half. After spending so long in the kingdom I was worried they were again going to drag stuff out by doing each group at a time.

The Rubbish Dwellers was a nice unexpected addition, first time in a while we've had something jump out rather than be hinted at for ages prior.

The problem it faces now is really is doing unpredictable stuff. It's quite clear we're waiting on them to cross paths with the female camp.
