Mata very inconsistent today. in a moment brilliant, then awful.

Martial's goal was really well taken. We're lucky to have him.

Watching something the other day when we had Rooney (when we was good), Tevez, Ronaldo, Giggs and Scholes as attacking players.

That's the problem now we don't have enough match winners any more. We've bought good solid players over the last couple of years - and they were needed, but only Martial is the sort of special talent we need more of.

Rooney may not be the force he was a few years ago, but again he's our best player today.

It's not one step forward & one step back, there has been NO step forward. LVG is worse than Moyes, he had more money, better players & less to do the first year yet f'd up that year & this.

LVG is far better than Moyes. Moyes had the opportunity to buy the likes of Kroos and paid £4m more than we should have for donkey Fellani. Moyes nearly ruined this club. I want rid of LVG but Moyes was the worst thing to happen to Utd for at least 30 years.

Memphis, it's never this though is it?

Carrick so slow in possession today. We're making Sunderland look like a free-flowing attacking team. Where is our urgency?

You'd like to think this would be enough to sack him, but I think they'd have done it in Jan if he was going to go. His contract is nothing in the big scheme of things so I doubt they're holding out to 'release' him on a technicality.

The Manchester Utd Thread 2015/2016

Lost it when Memphis came on. Martial moving made him completly ineffective.

...sorry but that's nonsense, he's been truly awful today!

...although, in this team of shockers he may may actually be worthy of the 'best player' monicker

LVGs win rate percentage is now below Moyes so it's a close call now... ...I s'pose though that you expected Moyes to be a bit crap but not LVG, which probably makes him worse!

Fair result, Sunderland could have been 2/3 up by half time. Its just baffling that they've let LVG carry on for so long unless they really don't know who to replace him with or their preferred option isn't available at the moment.

So, what'll tomorrows papers be saying about this! LVG is certainly gone now and if Maureen is actually in the frame they might as well give him the reigns now, A top 4 finish is all but gone now I feel and so it should, we are nowhere near good enough to finish in a CL position!

Memphis is a poor man's Nani.

We were awful in the second half, Rooney included. But he was our main man in the first half. Carrick was playing in slow motion. Mata was frustrating.

All the progress from recent games has been lost. Was it progress? Or is it like a baby burp being interpreted as a smile?

What is the game plan? What is the 'philosophy'? I like the man. I wanted him to do well. 4th with an entertaining team would have done me for this year. But it is dismal to watch and it is going nowhere. So what's the point in him staying on? He clearly can't fix it, because just when it looks like it's fixed, we get that performance.

And again, back to Memphis. That sub was mad. The boy is a none-trick pony. What goes on in LVGs head? He's toast.

Sadly, as someone said earlier, Woodward won't be going anywhere, as commercially he's been a big success.
