That just doesn't sound right to me - are you sure a player can be booked for anything other than his or her own persistent fouling?

I think Mourinho has a point on all three, although on form at the time Di Maria and Hernandez were fair game to be moved on. We could have done with both tonight though!

Wellbeck should never have been sold.

I didn't like the fact we moved Wellbeck on as a product of the Academy but hindsight has proven it hasn't yet been a massive loss since he has barely kicked a ball for Arsenal (except scoring against us!).

Some people will disagree with me, but i think Wellbeck is a better option than Martial, although I do agree he's been injured virtually all the time.

...he'll no doubt score at some point though... ...apparently we've had 76% of possession first half, how are we not ahead?!

...it ain't going to be 'one of those games' is it!!

If Pogba goes off now it might be nice to see what we're like with 11 players in the team.

Edit: scratch that, he's bringing on Fellaini. As you were!

Strange game, although we still have most of the possession we just don't look like scoring... ...Blind off, Rashford on immediately!

Has Romero ever been anything other than really good when he comes in for us? Surely if/when Dave goes to Spain, Romero will get the No 1 shirt.

A good result. A terrible game. We look like we're knackered and out of ideas. The international break can't come quick enough and Boro with a new manager could be a test on Sunday.

Still - Quarter Finals!

At least with a 12-00 kick off Marcos Rojo can nip over to Asda in the morning & stock up on bananas.

I don't know why anyone is even commenting on the banana. Is it against the rules? Tennis players eat them courtside all the time.
It's not like he had a Rustler's or something.

My thoughts on the tennis players, but that is during a break between games. It was a bright note during a sordid game.
