I'm showing estimated delivery as 17th-21st April so I guess it will ship soon enough...

Just out of curiosity, did you own a home cinema subwoofer before you bought you Sonos sub?

The only reason I asked is because I had a KEF PSW200 subwoofer when I had a 'trad' home cinema set-up and I'm wondering how the sonos sub will stack up. To be honest the quality of sound this equipment puts out with little effort never ceases to amaze me and yet i only have Play 1's around the house!

I guess what I'm really saying is that i just want to continue to be impressed...

I'm sure you won't be disappointed Just don't set it up when anyone is asleep as it does chuck out a quite impressive test sound

I have two placement choices:

a) Behind the sofa
b) Next to the sideboard below my TV

I love the idea of having no visible sign of the sub, yet it does look so damn good that I want to show it off! Ironically I can't say that about most (wired) subwoofers..

Exactly the same with my two girls, 2 (3 later this month) and a special needs 7-year old. The oldest is fine, it's my youngest who has just learnt to (heavily smudge) load my blu-rays into the player at will. I know it's all very trite yet it wasn't that long ago that my TV had screen finger marks on an almost daily basis...kids...you gotta love them...

Gonna have to hide mine away from my 20 month old son, I want the soundbar but right now it would be a nightmare stopping him pulling at it.

It's as if they know you dread them 'meddling' with certain possessions so make a beeline for them..

Mount the sound bar above the TV. That's what I've done

Tv's not in a great place for mounting above, not desperate for it so I'll just wait until he's old enough to understand.

Now admittedly I've never had a decent sub set up before but wow the Sonos sub is amazing though I doubt the neighbours appreciated the test sound it kicked out at 7.30 this morning

Im always impressed with the subs ability to add subtle detail I'd got used to not hearing in voices on TV. Any cheapo sub can make a loud noise, but the way that thing blends in is awesome.
