People have done it.. and had them delivered. All OK. In theory using another power lead is invalidating warranty (which is pan-EU) but obviously that's not an issue..

Cheers, was going to pick one up this week anyway so may just order from the ES and save myself some money.

Just the returns I guess. I bought a pstv from ES. Bought it cheaper elsewhere but have to return it to Amazon ES as uk wouldn't accept it.

Went for two 1s in the end from Spain for 367 euros. Can't complain at that price. Can't wait.

I'm looking to pick one of these up this month, so I would be keen to know how you get on...

I have managed to talk myself out of getting one for the moment, probably change my mind again in a week or so.

What are you reasons for getting one and what for talking yourself out of it? Do you listen to music/internet radio a lot at home?

My play:5 turned up from Amazon.es. Shipped from Milan, with french labelling for the address. Took about a week.

With the exchange rate, delivery etc it came to about £237. I finally have stereo separation in the bedroom.

The setup now looks like this:

Living Room: Playbar, Sub, Play:1 rears
Kitchen: Paired Play:3s
Master Bedroom: Paired Play:5s
Office: Connect:Amp with Monitor RX Silver speakers
Guest Bedroom: Play:3

I'll definitely end up with one, just flip flopping between buying a new iphone or the sub, new phone is winning right now.

We don't have a sub and still think the Playbar sounds great. I imagine we'll get a sub eventually, but not whilst we're in apartments.... too noise conscious!

That's pretty good when i think we paid more than that for our Play 3.

No issues with customs or warranty etc? I could seriously see myself ordering one for the lounge and move the 3 somewhere else

Decided the phone can wait and ordered the sub from ES, 686 eur delivered, a quick google conversion shows it to be about £500.

No issues with warranty. It's EU. Same packaging as the UK, just a different plug inserted into the box. I replaced with a spare white apple figure 8 plug cable. If I need to return it to SONOS for repair (unlikely) then I'd simply ship back with my existing PLay:5 cable. Or simply ship without it. No customs whatsoever.

It's taken me three years to build up the collection. I've tried to be savvy about buying them (10% off vouchers, using various gift vouchers I get towards them) meaning I've never paid full retail for the various bits and bobs. Or force myself to sell other tech to buy them.

I will be looking to buy my sub from Amazon.es later next week, anything I need to look out for when placing my order? Is it possible to translate the page without much fuss?

I used Google Chrome as recommended on this thread and it was a doddle, remember to select euro as your currency on the payment page.

My 1s arrived from Spain. They arrived before my 2-3 plug converters unfortunately. Hopefully they'll arrive tom so I can give them a try.
