Hi,

Just wondering if there is still a bit of an issue with the miwk site? I have tried to purchase this (and Maximum Power) a few times, both using Firefox and IE, and can't get past the Transferring stage.

Thanks,
Kevin

Hi Kevin, sorry it's taken a day or two to get back to you. You should have received an email from the Miwk guys by now. Hope you manage to get sorted and, of course, many thanks indeed for your custom.

No problem mate.

Yes, I got an e-mail with a PayPal invoice, which I paid and the book(s) arrived this morning...looking forward to a nice read tonight.

Many thanks
Kevin

We're planning a Carry On evening with some friends - what's the general consensus on the TOP3 funniest films ?

I have fond memories of many of them, but not watched any for over a decade and can't remember which scene is in which film !

Abroad is supposed to be one of the funniest, right ? And is Camping good, or only for Babs' boobs ?! And then I can remember Jungle and Khyber, and then there are a few hospital ones too - get them all mixed up. Oh, and Screaming of course - definitely a favourite, iirc - I wonder how it stands up today ?

If you were to watch a TOP3 with friends on a Saturday night, which would you choose ?

There have been a number of surveys over the years, but generally the top films which come out are:

Khyber, Screaming, Cleo, Abroad, Convenience, Camping and Doctor

My own top 3 are Convenience, Abroad and Screaming

Have fun with the Carry On evening!

Screaming seems to be in everyone's top 3, making it a pretty good contender for best overall really...

Will there be food at your Carry On evening?...I can just see you maniacally screaming "Frying Tonight!!...."

Enjoy

I thought so too. Shown it to a few people now and they are either too old and not geeky enough to know about the X-Men, or too young to know about Carry On's! Think this means I'm either a young geek with a taste of English Film nostalgia, or an old ( yes, all right it's the latter!)

Think that would make a great T-Shirt, would I be OK to use it for one, and anyone know of where I can get one done ( takes mr back to this Forums "What would Jack do?" T-Shirts that were done a few years ago on here)?

It's a thing of utter beauty but I can't get past the mis-spelling of Charles Hawtrey. Such a shame when in every other respect it's absolutely perfect

If you would like this as a print, or a t-shirt it would be best to register interest with the original artist
