Well, we got the 3 points but our form is a real concern!

Agreed, but a win against Stoke and it is 10 out of 12 over Christmas, I'd take that any year.

He won't buy big in January, you can't buy big in January, the players are just not available. I hope and pray the money is...

credit to Rooney coming back on at the end, i don't think we would have held on with 10 men.

I wonder why we're struggling so much away from home. Away games sometimes used to be easier for us than home games because the opposition didn't just sit back the whole game, but now we don't seem to be able to take advantage of the opposition attacking at all.

We're hardly the first team this season to get 3 points we didn't deserve.

Horrible game.

Stoke next - 3 points needed as we've got a tough run after that.

Both our away league wins this season were 1-2 wins with us taking the lead, then playing ****, conceding a stunner, Neville being lucky not to get sent off and finally Chicharito winning the game.

Hernandez also scored the winner in Valencia too. Perhaps we should be playing him in all the away games and Berbatov in the home ones!

Our lucky streak continues (not that I'm complaining ), we better start playing decent football before the CL fixtures starts or we're gonna get humiliated.

If Fergie thinks that midfield doesn't need some quality introduced, then there may be a bit of senility kicking in

Was a quality servant to the club, but Neville needs to stop ruining it and hang up his boots.

Definite penalty and red, not to defend the ref, but didn't see any replays from his angle. Was he directly behind and thought Neville got a toe on it, as the ball poked out to the right?

The midfield was awful today but we were without our four first choice wide players which left us completely unbalanced. I'd be delighted to see a central midfielder come in but it's unlikely.

Sahin, a player we were linked with a couple of years back, has been superb this year for Dortmund. Now Schweinsteiger is unavailable I can't think of many better options.

Wasn't the second goal from a corner, that's not the United way.

Come on Bolton, Blackpool & Brum.

Don't think the ball moved at all. Shocking decision.

Absolute garbage again though, we're gonna get a battering soon if we carry on playing this poorly away from home.

I'm with Francis with this one, I thought the ball poked out to the right. So you can see why the ref was fooled.

V lucky for us.

Keep getting away with it so far this season. I can't quite work out whether to be confident as we can only get better away from home, or worried because we are going to get caught out sooner or later and go on a bad run. The clincher for this season will be the tough set of aways we have yet to play. Our points total and unbeaten record is imbalanced by the fact we need to play Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs and Liverpool away from home yet IIRC.

The next three away league games are Spurs, Blackpool and Wolves; anything less then 7 points is unacceptable.

There are growing rumours that KAKA may be on his way to Man United on loan in the january transfer window.

Could be interesting

i've not seen any rumours other than on forums, but that would be quite a decent january signing even if he's not fully fit! Has he played in the CL for Real this season?

With Higuain out for 6 months I can't see them letting Kaka (or Benzema) leave in January unless they sign someone else.

Agreed - it was a Daily Star story (therefore made up) and there is no way United would be allowed to 'borrow' a Ł56m player when then sold an Ł80m player to Real a year and a half ago.

I hope I'm wrong, but no chance.

If it did happen as well, he'd be just like Veron and be over-run and pressured as soon as he received the ball. He's too slow for the Premier League.
