Not unless he's a club member.

In the highly unlikely event the derby doesn't sell out to members, it'd only go on general sale a week or so before kick-off, so not worth the risk for a stag.

Otherwise I can recommend if you really want nearer the time
He wont be able to get derby tickets on general sale. 100% no chance. His best bet is joining as a member and chancing his arm in the lottery.... or watching it in the pub.

The Irish bar at the rear of House of Fraser just off Deansgate is a United pub. Pretty decent atmosphere.

Problem is not many places in Manchester to watch matches, biggest place would be Norwegian Blue I think in the Printworks.

Fergie says no to Beckham - real shame. Would've been nice to have him back and it'd upset me to see him playing for some other PL clubs.

Beckham would have tarnished what he did in the past for United. Though didn't Fergie get Larsson when he was 35? Though he had pace.

Fergie claims he's not taken anyone on as old as Beckham. Did I imagine Andy Goram playing for United at 36?

I don't think he'd get a game TBH, but to have him around and training, and perhaps come on for the last 10 mins a few times would have been great to see.

If only to show Nani how to consistently cross a ball. Valencia has been sorely missed since his injury.

he could played the holding midfield role like paul scholes does a bit now using his range of passing. His passing would be better then carrick's at the moment.

yeah that echos my own thoughts, he would add much more to the team than Carrick with his composure, passing ability, attitude towards the game, plus we might score the odd free kick..

This would have been a perfect way for Becks to return to the Prem...and for he and fergie to bury any rumours of a rift...sadly it appears the rift is still there as far as Fergie is concerned!! I'm disappointed as I think becks would have given us something we badly need...someone who can cross a bleedin' ball.

...what a great Christmas pressie that would have been for the fans too...and I disagree about him tarnishing his previous United exploits, we all know he's older and in his footballing twilight years, he's still total class though and would certainly have shown up a few of the regulars (...perhaps that's the real reason why Fergie doesn't want him in the squad).

...c'mon Fergie, you miserable Scottish git, let him come home...I seem to remember you did something similar for Dwight Yorke when he was trying to keep his International career alive!

Just think of the shirt, etc sales. More money for the glassy-eyes to reduce the debt. Having said that, aren't they supposed to be selling to a middle east bunch?

Would signing him not take a squad spot from someone else thought?

yeah, just 4 days before we play away at Liverpool. The Blackpool game has been rearranged to the 25th Jan too, 3 days after we play at home to Birmingham
