Decent S3 openers, certainly not upto the best it's offered in the past, but still enjoyable. Sarah remains the best thing about it, there's little else out there that offers such mindblowing Eye Candy, and it's good to know they know what we like, with the bikini scene in ep.1 & the lingerie/weaponry scene in ep.2.

Just seen the second and loved it especially

And man the scene with Mini Anden and Strahovski getting dressed I had some depraved thoughts go through my mind.

Episode 3 was good as well, I can see how they are cutting the budget by not having the full cast in each episode. That is what I loved about S2 half the episode was all the monkeying around at the By More.

Much better third episode! The shuffling about of cast members happened all the time in S2 (mostly with Ellie and Awesome) though I'm fairly sure this is the first episode without Morgan in it at all.

Great cliffhanger too.

I've watched the first two and I got the impression of a tired series, the writers seem to be struggling. We had a big advance at the end of S2 with Intersect 2.0 but they spent the first two episodes back tracking on that idea, having yet another crappy reason for Chuck and Walker to not get together and reverting to the set up of S1/2

eta OK episode 3 was awesome but then it didn't have any of the Buy More filler

I don't think they are back tracking on the 2.0 but if Chuck was invincible there would be no need for Casey and Sarah and the show wouldn't be about a bumbling idiot getting out of trouble each week. They way they have it now with it not quite working is probably the best route.

The problem is they wrote the end of S2 having to cover thier bases for the show being cancelled so now they have to put the team back together and put Chuck back at Buy More.

3rd ep was very good and as for your spoiler

Loved Eps 1 and 2. Trying to ration myself and not watch them all immediately!

The intersect (ability) has to be dodgy or it would become boring very quickly. If scripted right it could become a great addition.

They really should just get Cuck and Sarah together as a couple, This will they/won't they set up is old new these days, It certainly hasn't effected the Big Bang Theory
so I don't see why it wouldn't work in Chuck

I was disappointed by the first 3 eps - was so looking forward to it coming back... and after watching these part of me wishes they did end it after S2, as like another poster has said it seems tired.

It's still good - and watchable... but nothing special... yet (fingers crossed!)

I enjoyed eps 1 and 2 more than number 3. I like the fun stuff more than the serious mission stuff, though when they include Chuck's family and friends it's always better.

When S1 started my expectations for Chuck were virtually zero, it sounded like a horrible amalgamation of Jake2.0 and John Doe yet it proved to be highly watchable and downright funny.

Now, despite my expectations being much higher, i have thoroughly enjoyed the start of S3 and fully expect it to keep getting better. My only bugbear at the moment is that the intersect2.0 stuff is coming across a bit Ben10-esque, but that's not necessarily a bad thing (he says, effectively admitting that he enjoys Ben10).

What about Emmett being killed? I thought that was a bit of a shock. Especially when you seen how he was killed (the bloody hole on the right side of his glasses. Nasty.

Oh the character was definitely a dick, can't disagree with that. It's just the way he was killed off was a bit brutal. And interesting to see that even Chuck doesn't know what happened and hasn't been told.

Well, in the United States on NBC, Chuck season 3 starts on Sunday January 10th for 2 episodes/2 hours, then the next day Monday January 11th for 1 hour. But since you just finished season 2 over there in Australia, you probably won't have season 3 for a while. In the US we had to wait 8.5 months! So that may be how long you have to wait? I don't know. Hopefully you don't have to wait that long. And if you want to see season 3 earlier, somebody will probably post the episodes on the internet for people all over to watch, or maybe you could buy them from the US iTunes. Good Luck, and Watch Chuck!
aaaaand breathe.

I agree with you, it's good to have Chuck back.
