Just a heads up. Episodes 1 and 2 air in the States tonight, and episode 3 airs tomorrow!

Someone on another forum emailed Virgin to find that out and got the reply that "at the moment, they have no intention to air Season 3 of Chuck".

Whether that means they aren't buying season 3 or that it's just too far ahead that they haven't scheduled it yet, who knows? If they do show it, it probably won't be until late summer at the earliest.

Looking very forward to this, once S2 got going it was a roller coaster of fun.

They seem to have some big names as guest stars, how have they done this by cutting cost and only dropping one cast member?

You don't even need a mate with a sling box, I have read about folks who have actually get a direct TV subscription and then used a company that host sling boxes, so it all stay nice and legal and you can watch whatever you want, although I would imagine that will take a hefty hit on your internet connection.

Although I am sure Virgin 1 will show this has they have repeated this on Bravo and has been on their VoD. Without it being scheduled in the US Virgin were obviously not in a position to know when they would be able to air this.

Watched the first two episodes shown last night. I don't know, a lot of the charm seen in S1 seems to have gone so we were left with fairly by-the-numbers episodes similar to the lower quality episodes that seemed to crop up at the end of S2. Don't get me wrong, it was still entertaining, but the magical x-factor that I loved about the show wasn't really there for me.

Still, great to have the show back at all, but based on this kind of quality, I'm not sure it's going to survive in that horrible Monday night slot.

Early reviews seemed to indicate that eps 3-5 is where the show picks up. The problem is that presumably the network told them again to treat the premiere as if no one has watched the show before, and you can't go messing around like that in the 3rd Season of a show.

It's quality. You can well imagine it hangin about with R2-D2. And when the fan is switched on it looks like it's scanning for life-forms like R2-D2 does on the ice world of Hoth when Luke Skywalker goes missing. Quality in moton. The other day it disappeared. I said, "where's the bag-l gone? have the jawas come to pick it up in the sandcrawler?" to which one of the girls in the office replied, "No, Les the porter!" —Captainchode

Well, episode three is on tonight, so we can put that to the test. The irony with that argument of course is that the original pilot is chock-full of pure Chuck joy.

I haven't seen them yet, but will say I much preferred latter S2 over S1, they really hit their stride with comedy and of course they had the sensations that were Jeff and Lester.

21% up on last years viewing figures http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/ustv/new...es-to-77m.html

Interesting to note that reruns of NCSI had just slightly less figures and reruns of Criminal Minds had more. But the biggest shock is that The Simpsons pulled in a whopping 21 million viewers no wonder they just keep renewing it.

Seen the first episode now and loved it, it had all the things that make Chuck such a fun show to watch. And Agent Walker, is she the prettiest women on TV?

Actually, The Simpsons figures have been massively inflated by a football overrun - it actually tails out at about 12/13 million - still up significantly on a normal episode due to the whole 20th anniversary thing.
