so what has happened to ?? chuck / the unit / pris break / 24 / heroes

i'm in the UK and can't find much infor on my shows i watch, the websites don't seem to say much, ie 24 says returning in 2008.... anyone know what has happeend to all of the above, i take it the writters strike has impacted, will any return this year? what is on instead in America?

I think the 10 month delay will be most beneficial to 24 to be honest.

Assuming it will be written any different to the previous seasons is a big assume. There was a big gap between season 3 and 4 where the plausibility factor just got worse.

I read somewhere a couple of days ago (and have been trying to find it this morning) that the producers of 24 have now said that it will be onscreen January 2009 - so a year later than originally planned........

Thats what I meant by the '10 month delay', not a 10 month delay in the actual series narrative.
It was on Variety and The Hollywood Reporter.

Bit harsh. Surely over 6 seasons they are allowed an off season. If season 8 is also poor then yeah maybe drop it.
