Journeyman Finale 1x13 *Spoilers*

Oh well, another promising US TV show bites the dust. An intriguing finale, no huge revelations but plenty of new info to digest & tease us wanting more.

There's internet rumours that a deal to continue the show on the Sci-Fi channel is a possibility (and they sure could do with it, no 4400, Dead-Zone & BSG to end next year, strike permitting) .... I fear it's wishful thinking, but fingers-crossed we see more of this very impressive show. Despite ending prematurely, i'll be ranking it high in my top-ten of 2007-08 shows.

Great shame this is ending. Really enjoyed it. Good final ep which did tie things up reasonably well

Didn't think the last episode was as good as ep 12 as it concentrated more on Evan than Dan and Livia. Liked the 'I have a feeling we won't be seeing each other for a while' quote! lol

Overall a very promising series which I am sad is ending as the possiblities it could have thrown up were endless.

Yeah, not what you'd hope for from a finale but under the circumstances a good job at explaining some stuff and sending the characters off into the sunset. Will miss this one - fantastic telly at a time when there's not much fantastic telly about.

great series, I cant imagine someone wont pick this up, as has been said the possibilities for stories are endless, and also the ability to bring in new characters.
weve only seen 1 man from the group tracking them, the dead FBI guy, so there's more to come there.

I loved the final scene and enjoyed the rest of it.
It's just a shame it's over.
I'll pick up the DVD set if it ever appears anyway.

very good show, plus I could stare at Moon Bloodgood all day

shame they brought in the sister-in-law - very irritating

Does the term 'QUANTUM LEAP RIP-OFF' mean anything to you folks...?

This IS that show with just a few of the tiniest of tweaks.

I know that this is a world where the is very little creative originality (even some of my own personal favorites are not innocent of this - classic TREK was just Gene Roddenberry's attempt to recreate FORBIDDEN PLANET but for TV, and BABYLON 5 draws it's influences from so many different sources that they'd be too long a list to commit here) but purrleeez!

but it's not, although that wouldn't be a bad thing.
the only thing they have in common are they both travel through time, that's it.

no hologram
no jumping into other people
no ziggy

I'd agree that there were more than a few similarities with QL but it was very well done for what it was.

And american tv is all the poorer for it being cancelled.

First time I've been annoyed about a show being cancelled. In my opinion it was by far the best new show of the year and am shocked that people haven't watched it in enough numbers to keep it going.

And I didn't like Quantum Leap

Isn't QL just Highway to Heaven but with time travel. There is nothing original anymore just shows with a good twist on what has come before. B5 may have drawn on a lot of other source material but the finished package made it one of the most unique shows on TV.

I really enjoyed Journeyman from start to finish, it was well acted and well scripted. With a nice story arc from the beginning. And no more Bloodgood on weekly basis.

I don't see the issue. QL wasn't THAT original.

No need. Not when we can find others that are even more suitable for him.
