Tartan Grindhouse Label

tartans current Winter Catalogue insert mentions that they have a 'Grind House' label coming soon. Anybody know anything about this ? What are we likely to see ?

Cult horror films I'm guessing, judging by the "Grindhouse" label name.

Yes. But which ones? It seems that Morrisey's Blood for Dracula and Flesh for Frankenstein are likely to be the first releases and I guess we may finally see the Bava films that Tartan have been delaying for the last two years. But what else ?

Yeah, I seem to remember reading somewhere that Tartan plan to release quite a few Paul Morrissey films this year. Dunno if they will be on their new Grindhouse label, though.

Be interesting to see what else they have planned, but I can't see the typical 'grindhouse' flick passing thru the BBFC uncut.

Last House on Dead End Street seems to be coming from Tartan in May (extras were submitted to the BBFC in July last year), seems like another likely candidate.

I suppose this is a replacement for Tartan Terror, not much of a loss as Tartan seem more about world cinema and most of the horror releases were awful.
Hopefully they'll put more effort in with extras and better prints etc.

There are three Jess Franco double-bills due from Tartan soon.

Their current release schedule is here.
