I would buy the DVD if I were you with your high disposable income. If you don't like it, there is always ebay or the classifieds. There are a few plots which run through the season. You really need to see the first few to see what makes Dexter who he is.

My fave show of last year.

Considering that the DVD appears to coming in at a reasonable price, it's more than worth it CJ. Hell I've seen the series but definitely want to own it as well.

Last nights ep where Dex tries it on with Darla during Terms Of Endearment had me in bits laughing.

Yeah, Dex obviously hasn't been picking up advice on the Forum's Shaggin' & Braggin' thread.

Yeah that scene was great but so was the scene at the end where Dexter gets the relationship advice

The books are good. Book 1 is season 1 but Book 2 is different from season 2 so far, I read that season 2 is a new story. The 3rd book (Dexter In The Dark) is out soon

I just read the first book and I have to admit, I won't be bothering with the others. I hated the style. It's like an airport novel but with serial killers.

After catching a atrailer for this ages ago I put on a Series link on sky+. Hve only seen two eps on FX but am enjoying it so much.

I am engrossed in this and will probably be watching every ep like I did for Heros, I usually lose interest halfway through long running seasons (ie Lost), but it has me hooked for so many different reasons than Heros that I can not put my finger tips on.

Have just watched the one where
with others to catch up on

Am I watching S1 or S2, This has the Ice Truck at the moment, as I really have no idea

BUMP!

Just finished watching S1, and thought best to bump this rather than starting a new thread.

Can anyone answer -

also, I thought the build up to the end of ep11 was superb, and I had to watch ep12 (last one) straight after. But the final ep was different to all the others in that it jumped around a lot, and all the tension dissipated almost straight away !

I'm a little late to this thread but I've just finished watching season one and I absolutely loved it. I'd agree with some of the other comments that it took three or four episodes to get going but by the end I was loving it.

Now time for season two!
