$400million box office seemed low to me, so I checked and it's worldwide box office was over $950million (and that's not even adjusted for inflation). Combined with the overall shodiness of the poster in general and it was enough to convince me it wasn't genuine.

The Trilogy took $400m in domestic BO. AFAIK US trade ads don't usually refer to worldwide takings because, er, they're only aimed at the US market.

Sadly you have to be a facebook member to vote. I'm not sure this poll will make any difference, they've probably made up their minds on what to release and when but you never know

Funnily enough I was watching the latest episode of Fringe that was shown on Sky 1 and in the background in one scene it had a cinema with a now showing sign saying Back to the Future starring Eric Stoltz. Got me thinking if we were due a BD release of the trilogy.

I see the vote is only for the first film, not the trilogy.

These have to be bought together really.

I'd love the full set too. If it is only part 1 that gets released, I'm pretty confident that I can hold out until a full set arrives.

Full set or no sale, I can't imagine that they would do otherwise (actually yes I could).

They'll definitely release all three in a boxset, to "force" people like.....

Well that sucks, because the first craps on the sequels from a great height.

That's more a reflection of how good the first is, rather than a criticism of the second and third surely.

Not really. The first film is great, but I also think the sequels are quite poor.

I loved 2 and 3. I don't really see a difference in the trilogy, it's all one big story.

Youve got to have the three or none at all with these.

I wonder if they dare to add Elisabeth Shues part into the ending of pt 1

They might think it would help it smoothly into pt 2

Elizabeth Shue was awful, as were a lot of things in the sequels. The first film was written as a perfect self-contained story, and that's how I like to watch it.
