[Netflix] Ozark

Anyone else watching this?

It's superb. Incredibly tense, incredibly well made. If you haven't started this yet then get on it.

I'm about half way through and really enjoying it. Probably won't watch anything else until I finish the remaining episodes.

Watched the first two episodes & it is fantastic. So well written & good acting all round.

All the Breaking Bad comparisons are valid, this show has lots potential...

I'm in 4 episodes and this is superb, well acted and The Ozarks look so nice in 4K.

Netflix with another quality original.

I got through this in 2 days due to working night shifts!
It really was very good! It does have BB similarities but that's no bad thing! The acting was very good and a few twists and turns too which was nice!
I'm also looking forward to seeing S2. Well done Netflix and Jason Bateman too!

Cheers for the recommendation, really enjoying this.

I'm only 4 episodes in so far but it feels like its right up my street.

I liked this a lot. Bateman really has no depth as an actor. He always delivers his script in the same tone, pulls the same faces, his timing, but I find him very likeable and he's never been bad in anything.

Looking forward to more.

Just finished this and thought it was excellent overall. Definitely something to watch out for the 2nd series.

As to the spoiler above. Totally.

We also watched this over the week. Few episodes in realised the logo at the start gives away the main points of that episode.

Be interesting if S2 is actually made and where they take the story from here.

Breaking bad was the story arc of one man turning into a crime kingpin. Here that already exists.

Decided to watch an episode over breakfast this morning, ended up doing two. I know what I will be doing for most of this weekend. And this looks superb in 4k.

Bursting to leave HOC to start this as s5 is turning out to be a bit of a mess.

A truly brilliant finale touching all climax bases without being too much of a cliff hanger. Smart writing.
