I'm sure I read somewhere that he 'poached' (no pun intended) the staff from the restaurant in tonights show?

This is going to be like the Property Ladder Revisited's isn't ? i.e. a repeat programme with an extra 5-10 minutes tacked on at the end.

Anyway, there's a new series due in the Autumn, apparently ; he's filming down the road at the minute.

about 4 mins of new stuff - you'd think if they'd bother to ship him to Cumbria they could film a bit more!

How come it's revisited then? The others in the series weren't were they? I didn't see last weeks but I'm sure the previous ones weren't "revisited".

What a pointless episode, I love he way they had the cheek to retitle it "Revisited".
There was hardly 5 minutes of new matarial, yet it seemed to be advertised as a new show.

Yeah, I expected it to be a 5 minute recap on the original show, with the reminder on what had happened since, and sorting any problems that were still there.

I expect next weeks show will be that same, with him returning to The Walnut Tree.

Still enjoyed it, but wasn't the 'revisit' I was expecting!

I was very suprrised to see the Head Chef still there. I thought he would have gone and the girl would have been head chef, she was a lot more composed.

Made me laugh though as well as last time:

He gave me 3 options:

1. To leave
2. Take a pay cut and a step down the ladder
3. Stay and improve....

Erm... I wonder which one most people would take. Having said that if it didn't work the 2 would have been the better option and gauranteed his job in a month, 3 he could have still lost his job i suppose!!

Ramsey did appologise at the end for nicking his staff but it was OK as he had employed the local bouncer... Down the pan we go again then!

The chef still needed sorting out he was still cocky and lost control!

Lazy programming, but I enjoyed watching it again (it was the best of the series IMHO)

Mainly because of how laughable the main characters were - both the owner and chef were tragically pathetic trying to act like they'd got balls in front of the tv cameras.

The owner reminded me of Dave Spikey and had no obttle whatsoever. The chef was (somehow) even worse - blubbing his eyes out on the first occasion when the evening went badly.

You could see he was well out of his depth - he'd have trouble working in a McDonalds. I loved the way he desperately said 'We're a team, you're all MY family' after the rest of the team showed him up by doing better without him, and his pathetic 'sex on a plate' quotes.

Channel 4 seem to be doing this quite a bit now what with Location Location Revisited, Grand Designs Revisited, Property Ladder Revisited, The City Gardner Revisited, and now Ramsey's Nightmares Revisited. Lazy f&^kers the lot of them. Why can't they do 6 NEW episodes followed by a last episode which encompasses the revisits of the 6 episodes of the last series. Makes more sense. The recent Grand Designs "new" series consisted of 2 new shows, 3 revisiteds, and 1 repeat! What the heck?

Interesting when he went back, the owner and head chef claimed everything was going great, yet the one night Ramsay was there, it looked as bad as it had been previously.

When the Risotto went wrong and GR asked, if he hadn't been there, would it have gone out to the customer...amazingly, the head chef needed to think for a few seconds before replying that it wouldn't have!!!

Just been watching the repeat of the Momma Cherri's Soul Food Shack episode - and as I work 10mins away from that restaurant I've got to go there sometime!

Menu looks good too!

Did anyone else feel Ramsey was a bit out of line pinching the staff? I see where he's coming from - just like any business he headhunts staff. But he's supposed to be helping businesses get back on their feet, not lift them up then poach their assetts. Something just doesn't sit right with me.

I walked pass there last week, never knew it was next to the town hall, ths way the show filmed it, it looked like it's in some back alleyway. But it's close to Moshi Moshi, and almost out in the open.

c4 programmes have so little new content in them. after each ad break we get a little recap in case we forgot what happened 15mins ago, then in the last 10 mins we get a larger recap to pad it out a bit more. then 2 months later we get the 'revisited' version which is the same show with the same padding and a miniscule piece of additional footage at the end.

It's not just C4. House of Tiny Tearaways is full of recaps. Either they think the audience are goldfish, or they are so desperate for ratings that they want any random channel surfer to be able to join in with minimal effort no matter when they stumble across a programme. And then they repeat it 5 hours later anyway. The dumb down revolution is here.
