Ax Men is on tonight!

We've got a great clip on the Ax Men Facebook Page where the carriage of the Rygaard crew grinds to a halt. The owner Craig makes the rest of the crew nervous when he delves in to the electronics of the 1 and a half ton carriage.

Certainly beats messing around under the hood of a car!

Is anyone following the series? And has ANYONE warmed to the S & S guy?

Ax Men is on tonight! We see a focus on R&R, the heli-loggers company.

Also, we have a great clip from Ice Road Truckers which is on tomorrow at 9pm.

It shows the rivalry between Alex and Hugh, and the further rivalry between their driving assistants, Drew and Phil. Each of them are convinced that they've driven faster than the other.

It's the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall today.

To commemorate this historic event, History are broadcasting a special 2 part documentary: The Rise And Fall Of The Berlin Wall.

Tonight, it's the rise. Check out this clip on the History Facebook which gives a summary of the volatile political landscape which contributed to the construction of the wall.

Has anyone ever visited the Wall?

Ice Road Truckers night tonight.

On the Crime & Investigation Network this weekend, there's an excellent homegrown series about the power of forensics.

It's called Leave No Trace and you can catch it on Saturday Night.

Check out a trailer on the CI Facebook Page.

Because they seem to be a favourite on here, here are the wonderful S&S Aqua Logging crew, from tomorrow's episode of Ax Men.

As anyone who has watched them knows, there is plenty of swearing in that clip.

Has anyone been following Ax Men right through the series? What do you think of it as compared to the first series?

I have just started watching Ice Road Truckers. im enjoying it but, If they show me another animated picture of what happens to a jack kife lorry, or what pipes do if unstable or what happens when a lorry sinks on the ice road I may scream!!!!!
But loving the fact Lisa is almost a heavy hauler and one of the best drivers out there go girl!!!!

They show that same cgi truck jack knifing every week! For the next season I demand they send a proper lorry over the cliff.

I managed to miss last weeks episode as I normally record the first showing then watch later but as it clashed with a couple of things I set it for what I thought was the repeat at 2am, the synopsis in the epg was the same as the 10 pm showing but the episode recorded was last weeks! Argh...

I don't know if the early morning showing is always a week behind or if it was a mistake, Ill find out tomorrow as I'll be recording it at both times this week.

I'll pass that on Any particular lorry?

There's an episode on History at 9pm tonight, for those that are still glued to the series. Lisa's a real favourite of mine, she's completely holding her own against the guys and has a great sense of humour.

If there are any fans of Darwin around, tomorrow at 7pm there is the first of a 3 part documentary on his life.

It's part drama/part documentary, certainly something different and a great insight.

Check out a clip on the History Page on Facebook to get a taste of what its like.

Erm, are you sure? That didn't look like a closing episode and Wikipedia says there's another episode entitled 'Arctic Thaw'

Whoops, well spotted! Last night's episode was of course the penultimate one, while Arctic Thaw, the last episode, will be broadcast next Thursday.
