Sons of Anarchy - Season 7 *US PACE* - SPOILERS

This is back on tonight in the US and I can't wait.

Watched the season 6 finale again recently and I think it was even better on a second viewing knowing what was coming.

I hope Jax finds out what Gemma did sooner rather than later as I don't want that storyline to drag out the whole season.

Predictions for the season (This is all pure speculation from me but putting in spoiler tags just in case):

Just recently watch all 6 seasons over the course of2-3 months and it's amazing watched season 6 finale only last weekend and was really good. Looking forward to S7 and I agreed with the whole Gemma situation could become very drawn out.

I hope Ep 2 has a little more action and violence

Really enjoyed this and going to be a fairly explosive final season

That was rather unremittingly grim - felt quite ill by the end. I do hope we don't get mad, revengeful Jax for the full season as we've been down that road with Opie already. I'm not sure he's going to make it to the end - he's worse than Clay.

Cor blimey - That was grim. I thought for a while that we were going to see a masacre at the party but what we actually got was much harder to watch!

I'm not sure if anyone (including Jax) even actually believes that guy really killed Tara but Jax clearly had to get that out of his system.

So many innocent people have died due to the Sons jumping the gun and not getting real evidence. This has been happening since the first series (Opies wife) and the pastors in this episode were another reminder of this. You would have thought they would have learnt by now.

When the Sons were round the table, I got the impression that quite a few of them didn't agree with Jax so think this might be an ongoing theme this season. Bobby, Tig and Chibs should set up their own club and leave Jax and Happy to it.

On a side note, has Wendy always been that stupid. She gave Juice a run for village idiot in this episode.

Good god i hated that Queen cover. It was awful.

I wish Sutter would **** off with the montages. Unnecessary filler and now every ep seems to have to have 2 of them.

+1. It was truly dreadful. Whoever that band was, they should be stopped from performing anywhere ever again.

Good, if incredibly grim start to the new season. Some terrible effects work in the scene with the wheelchair & motorbike though.

Gemma really needs to die in the most painful way possible before the end. The amount of **** she causes just to avoid telling the truth is unbelievable. I guess this week's events will set up yet another enemy for her 'beloved' Jax...

Other than Unser, I hope they kill them all off by the end of the series. I don't like any of them (which is probably why I haven't really enjoyed it for years).

I actually laughed out loud for that it was so bad.

Hilariously stupid moment of the episode this week:

Jax: Hey, that guy's getting away. Shall I concentrate on the driving while I chase him down? Nah, one hand on the wheel, the other hand hanging out the window like I'm cruisin'

Oh, & how many more long, lingering shots of Juice looking sad do we have to put up with? He's an idiot. Someone put him out of our misery.

Really not feeling it so far for this season - just episode after episode of Jaxx either beating people up or killing them. We get that's he's a violent sociopath as is his mother and the cycle is about to be repeated with his sons exposed to violence. He also seems to be over his wife's murder really quickly or maybe I'm losing track of the time frame as it seems to be just a few days?
I hope there's a decent ending coming our way in a few weeks at least.

Completely agree. We've now had 3 weeks of basically the same thing happening and there must be more to come as Marilyn Manson needs to slot in somewhere. My guess is that the end game will justify why Jax is orchestrating the huge turf war and I doubt its purely to get back at the Chinese.

The fact he was sat there laughing and joking while a porno was being made 2 weeks after his wife has been brutally murdered didn't really sit right either.

Stupid moment of the week: The DA is about to put out an APB on Juice, so Unser takes him to a cafe full of police

Could have done without Katey Sagal singing over the end montage this week.

We know she's your wife, Sutter, but come on!

He does love his musical montages doesn't he?

I think this season probably has got a little better but I feel I'm watching just to see it all out now. It's also going to be really rushed getting everything revealed and the consequences that follow now as we're over half way through already.

It's really looking bad for Jax now. He's losing control. No idea what he's going to do when he finds out about Jemma which is bound to happen soon enough now Juice is going to talk...

...and:
Ouch.

I can't believe they ended this episode in exactly the same way as the last one. It really feels like they are treading water. My guess is that Sutter always knew what he wanted to do with the last 2 or 3 episodes and has had to produce 10 episodes of filler so we can get there. I'm sticking with this as I do have hope things will pick up but doubt I'll ever watch the front end of S7 again.

As long as it doesn't end up with the same ending as The Shield

Other than vengeance & counter-vengeance, I've absolutely no idea what the endgame for any of the plots is supposed to be any more.

I have to say that 'Anarchy Afterword' (SOA's attempt to do a 'Talking Dead' type show) is the most ineptly put together piece of TV I've seen in years. The host is complete talent vacuum & It's just painful to watch.
