Breaking Bad (US/Netflix pace)

watched the first episode last night

not bad at all - similarities to Weeds are obvious, but it seems to have more heart/drama than that show

but just as offensive

FX UK is showing it soon I believe

I saw the first episode a while back and liked it, but decided to wait for FX. They're showing it from the 28th of September, and it's slated to be in HD.

Looking forward to seeing Hal. As a comedic actor he was great, but his turn in the X-Files as a Redneck was damn good. And in HD too!

I hope so, I'm just going through Season 1 of Dexter and adverts for Season 2 are playing on FX. I hate being behind on TV shows, the amount of times I have to stick my fingers in my ears and close my eyes is annoying. Not getting caught out with Breaking Bad and Fringe, there from the start.

FX HD dont show programs the same time as on FX, but they are usually shown in a week of each. so keep an eye out.

The stupid morons at AMC broadcast this with all profanity edited out - no matter how tame. Of course they left the sex, drug taking, gore, and violence completely in tact!

Only in America!....

Its the best show I`ve seen in the last twelve months, only seven episodes in total but they are all gold.

Cranston is fantastic as the main character.

I really cant recommend this enough.

Just checked and this is not taking over the Dexter HD slot. Not looked all the way thru the week but I can't see it listed on HD.

To be fair the show was made for Showtime, who then balked on the show when they saw it. AMC just bought it up. It's weird. Technically cable stations can have swearing, but none of them will for fear of being reprimanded.

It's quality. You can well imagine it hangin about with R2-D2. And when the fan is switched on it looks like it's scanning for life-forms like R2-D2 does on the ice world of Hoth when Luke Skywalker goes missing. Quality in moton. The other day it disappeared. I said, "where's the bag-l gone? have the jawas come to pick it up in the sandcrawler?" to which one of the girls in the office replied, "No, Les the porter!" —Captainchode

I watched the first episode on FX and thoroughly enjoyed it. Swearing intact.
