The clips I’ve seen of him in Azerbaijan are even worse

I guess that's what happens to ageing rich men who get paid a fortune to do something they love doing and have lots of downtime.

I've enjoyed the new series so far, but boy do they need to get some new writers and give the whole gay stuff a rest. I just find it offensively lazy and unfunny, just like all the schoolboy knob gags. They've always been at their most entertaining while titting around and enjoying each others company and the job they do, there's no need for the z-list sitcom crap.

And you can walk into a hotel and shout at the help because your steak and chips isn't ready for you.

I turned it off. It's like they've reverted to the same inane crap they were doing last season. I skipped most of that too.

The Jaguar was definitely the highlight of an otherwise average episode. Cockin' about with the Euro 4x4's went on far too long. Yes, it's good they've dropped the celeb section but they've not used the spare time to good use yet...

Really enjoyed this week's episode. A good balance of mucking around in the snow (the parabollocka ) and a fantastic segment on Jim Clark.

The kind of episode they should be making more often.

I groaned at the first aerial shot of the snow track. Seemed immature, even for them.

That aside, great episode. Could have happily watched a whole hour on Jim Clark.

I haven't seen it yet but was it by any chance the shape of a willy?

I’d watch hours of similar, I know it takes a bit more research but can’t be that expensive to make.

Agree with you all, the Jim Clark section was wonderful. I may go back and watch it again shortly.

Really enjoyed the Jim Clark segment but was pretty disappointed with the rest of it. New Top Gear trailer looks good though....

If I'm honest, Top Gear was better than The Grand Tour last year and I reckon it will be this year.

Yes we'll have to wait and see. Hopefully, the changes will work and not be another Chris Evans mismatch.

Just gave up on top gear, have to admit I'm not an avid watcher of this. It's become an incredibly stale format.

As others have mentioned, the Jim Clark segment was easily the highlight of this week's episode but I also enjoyed the other sections. I wonder what kind of discount May got when buying the Alpine as it seems to be ridiculously overpriced for what it offers?

I've said it before, but I think one of the major issues now is that there are plenty of channels on Youtube about cars that just cover cars without all the mucking around. I think deep down people watch a car show to know about the cars, not to see grown men arsing about continually.
