Finally started the Sabrina the Teenage Witch reboot & very impressed so far (watched the first six episodes).
Good acting from the leads, solid FX, looks fantastic (almost film quality) & the main storyline is playing out nicely. Certainly much better than most CW output...

Has the Sabrina reboot got a wise cracking talking cat in it? Otherwise I am out.

There’s definitely a cat, don’t think I’ve heard it talk yet, but I’ve only seen the first 4

Alas, no talking yet (as of ep.6), but has helped out several times...

No talking cat, (more shows need a talking cat)

Netflix added today In The Fade which came out earlier this year. Not watched it yet myself but it's got very strong reviews.

Its excellent reboot, really enjoyed it and looking forward to season 2. Netflix have agreed to pay for seasons 3+4
Really hope Salem talks in season 2 - the familars can talk as one does at the end of season 1.

This looks very interesting out on netflix Jan 25th....

Not finding this at all on Netflix. Search brings up nothing.

Edit: I can find it by searching for the original title "Aus dem Nichts".

I guess I watched a different version of Roma than all the critics. It bored the everloving **** out of me. Beautifully filmed, sure, but I gave up after watching a woman do housework for 40 minutes while irritating children screamed around her.

I was bored stiff just watching the trailers so not interested in the slightest going anywhere near the full thing...

You guys are therefore seriously missing out. It might not have the explosions and CGI of the latest MCU blockbuster but it's a brilliantly powerful drama that lovingly focuses on the type of person cinema and probably the world completely overlooks. The photography is just stunning and it's great to see one of cinema's technical masters (see the sequences from Children of Men or Gravity) applying that degree of skill to a 'small' drama like this.

It's a proper "show don't tell" piece of cinema where the audience needs to think about what's going on and how the everyday lives of people are interwoven and impacted by the larger events going on around them.

A lot of films like this, arty indie drama's about real people, often get described as being really good but 'not easy viewing.' Sometimes that's because of gritty content but often it's down to just average or decent storytelling. Roma has all the emotional power of those kind of films but is captivating. It also is brilliantly acted and not in a Hollywood let's put on some 'make me ugly' makeup and chew up the scenery to get an Oscar nomination.

It reminds me of the great drama's cinema used to produce in the 70's before everything became massive blockbuster tentpole franchise movies or micro-indies that cost nothing.

Anyone who has Netflix and doesn't bother to watch this is really just punching themselves in the nuts!

That's what I did, couldn't find it so used the Netflix App on my phone to add it to my list. Watched it last night - well made film, pretty grim and thought provoking.

That search facility is almost worthless. After hearing Journey's End had been added (well worth a look, folks) I tried a search. Netflix was insistent I really wanted Jumanji, and the proper title only popped up when I had typed all but the last two letters.

In the Fade is very good - just don't expect an action rollercoaster. It's a slow-moving drama of grief and acceptance, and Kruger is excellent.

The Breadwinner is on Amazon. It's meant to be very good.

They added all 5 seasons of Person of Interest last week.

I finally watched The Christmas Chronicles with my family yesterday, and damn it's one of the best Christmas films I've seen in years. Kurt Russell as Santa? Inspired.
