The Little Mermaid (Disney) - same as the old version?

Does anyone know if there's any difference (other than cover art) between the current UK blu-ray of The Little Mermaid & the previous 'Diamond Edition'?

I know Disney in their infinite wisdom dropped an entire disc of extras on the latest blu-ray reissue of Beauty & the Beast, & I was wondering if the case was the same with this title.

There's a glitch during one of the songs where they inexplicably swapped a couple of 1 second scenes in the song, most wouldn't notice but this was fixed in the US but not in the UK

I was just perusing ebay. There are listings for both UK editions of the blu.

(I've got the 2-disc Region 1 Platinum Edition dvd from 2006, but I was in a Disney mood & thought I might upgrade to blu as it's my 2nd favourite Disney flick. The glitch on the UK blu that Roberto mentions is irritating though)

Disney have always been exceptionally terrible about their DVD/Blu releases. Excluding the limited availability, there's messing around with the animation, extras... Ugh.

Thanks for that richie, but I really meant the original one from 1989.

Without the Peter Andre singing.

I guess that isnt available on disc then?

Surely the Peter Andre cover of the song has never been in the actual film has it?

It is at the end credits. But not sure if its in the film.

I think I might be getting mixed up with the lion king SE where there is a new song.
