But the helicopter is *on* the water, it's not as if it's jumping out or anything. No more far-fetched than downing the Orca in the first film.

I love Jaws 2. It doesn't have the class of Jaws of course but it's still great fun and a quality follow up. I think Jeannot Szwarc is rather underrated as a director.

Jaws 2 looked pretty good in HD when SKY Movies showed it. As people say it's a fun film and has a great 'adventure' style score by Williams. Wouldn't mind a Blu-ray.

Jaws 2: just watched the dvd today and its a very good transfer and upscales very well.

Williams score is good, and I still think the film is a good sequel, its doesn't try and just copy the first film, like many sequels do and it helps that it was 3 years after the original, rather then 10 years or more.

When it was on ITV HD last time, the upscaled DVD looked as good, if not better.

I looked at the DVD of Jaws last week & it looks fantastic (on a 42" plasma), & I've just finished looking at the DVD of Indiana Jones & The Last Crusade, great picture. I do buy Blu-rays, but it's easy to forget just how good some DVD's can look.

Remember the airplane scene is Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus?

Have to agree Lou....anyone who has watched the discovery channel will know there are a few stories of great whites...and for that matter tiger sharks, randomly attacking small fishing boats....

Was on ITV4HD a while ago, was hoping it would revert back to Sky but alas, not to bothered now though to be honest, what with the Blu release confirmed.

I wonder if it'll be in its OAR, 'Deliverance' was on Fri night, and that was, I think.
