2001/Clockwork Orange/Shining region free on Blu-ray??

Anyone who have these let me know?

Yes

So far, all Warner BD have been region free. The way it should be.

I would be careful of The Shining in the recent Warner Kubrick set as on DVD this is encoded R1 only whereas all the others are R1,2,3,4.
Not seen any reports of how this is coded on BD however.

This is because Warner only have rights to the longer cut used in North America not worldwide.

Think he was referring to the Warner HD releases

SD from Warner is still coded, but as you say there isn't really any consistency to the coding.

you guys need to check out amazon.de and the bd cover of Shining. I am just waiting for that one as i fell in love with the cover..(don't know why) and i think it's the shorter cut coz the time says 114 minutes.
