I thought King Kong was crap but it will look good on HD DVD so I am debating getting it. Shame its not the extended version coming though - smacks of Universal cashing in as I guess they'll be another version along soon.

I know its a freebie for 360 HD-DVD buyers but its a poor show that KK has no extras. The standard DVD had some and the new extended release has a ton of stuff, none of which was included.

According to that review it has two extras, neither sound very interesting.

I'm betting no extras are included simply because of the film length. I'm betting there isn't much room left on the HD-30 and as they weren't willing to issue a 2 disc release the extras had to go.

Agreed, if we look at MI:III that was released with a host of extras but on a 2 disc set.
