Not one, apart from some music DVDs and a couple of anime series from MVM's deals of the week. But pretty much no one I know has a BD player, let alone buys BDs

I bought Haywire on DVD last week. I would normally have gone for the BD on an action film but I saw the DVD at a bargain price and bought it.

Before then it was Frost/Nixon about a month ago. Movies like that where the HD effects do not make a significant difference, I'll still buy the DVD rather than the me expensive BD.

You went to a market where a man had a DVD stall? Did you go to 2002 or something?

I like mooching around markets... and sniffing Yankee Candles in shops.

It was a shame he didn't have more stock as I would have bought a few more. I just missed out on The Hangover boxed set which he sold for seven quid.

I think I've resigned myself to buy DVD's of old TV series that are extremely unlikely that will make it to BD, like Blackadder.

Actually, yes. It was at a local CBS and on offer at £2.99 with the original seal intact. I know the guy who was selling it and he is legit.

I usually buy DVDs when Blu-rays aren't available. I recently got around to filling up the rest of the X-Files series. I originally only had 1-5, which I had bought for around £100 each on first release 10-plus years ago. Amazon had a sale for the series at under a tenner each for a season, and naff though they are I wound up getting the final seasons as well.

The last time I bought a DVD where a Blu-ray was available was Life on Mars Seasons 1 & 2. I read that the Blu-ray was an upscale, that it had the frame rate changed from 25fps to 24fps, adding 4% slowdown, and that songs had been altered anyway. In that instance, the DVDs looks preferable.

The Globe's "Twelfth Night" as we went to see it live and wanted a chance to see it again. They don't release their plays on blu ray so had no choice. Before that it'd be a Stewart Lee show for the same reasons.

I still buy plenty, as many are Still not on Blu Ray!

Candyman 2
Juan of the Dead
Quarantine 2
Bloodsport 2 and 3

When you are paying a quid, well not much to complain about.

Cracker: The Complete Collection.

Cheap price and never likely to be on bluray, so why not.

Ohhh yeah Cracker box set, them kinds of sets just come down to tasty low prices and have to be bought! Will they ever be on Blu Ray? doubtful, especially at cheapo prices.
