In the DVD/Blu era, Criterion have done two out of Fincher's nine feature films. How does that make them "Fincher sluts", exactly?

'The Game' from Criterion will certainly make up for the lacklustre effort by Universal. I'm just glad his other films have been so well served on blu-ray with excellent editions across the board from all the studios. With this release it just leaves 'Panic Room' to get the full HD treatment.
Criterion are hardly "Fincher sluts", they simply recognise an important director whose titles SELL (and they need big sellers to fund the release of more niche titles). Even Fincher's lesser films are interesting from a technical standpoint and often from a psychological one as well. 'The Game' is not a "great" film, although it very nearly is (I always felt the ending undermined everything that comes before) but it's still worthy of a decent edition.
The only Fincher film I've actively disliked was that Benjamin Buttons **** but even that has some truly fantastic filmic craft going on. Plus I like to slo-mo Daisy pirouetting into the path of an oncoming taxi over and over and over again. God, that's an awful film!

Review sounds like it's a must buy. Where's best to get this delivered to the UK?

Amazon.com where it's currently $17.99 which is well below the £15 ($23.90 for Dec) pre-postage customs limit.

With postage it's £15.77 delivered.

Gah, all we need is Panic Room (which isn't out anywhere on Blu) to have the complete lineup of Fincher movies on Blu-ray. Come on Sony, I don't even care if its bare bones as the 3-disc DVD cost me £1.27.

In recently watched this again, and quite liked it this time around. I remember not liking it at the cinema and I still don't think the last ten minutes or so hang together very well, but its a tremendous piece of fun. Michael Douglas' performance is outstanding, he's a joy to watch as it unfolds. The Crit disc is superb, its one of those where I forgot I was watching this at home, it just looks so cinematic.
