After quick play -

MEMORY: Brave 250-300mb, FF 400mb, chrome 500mb (no extensions) / 800mb normally
POWER USAGE: very low for Brave, so likely better for battery devices

I installed this last night. Probably going to keep it. It's the same as Chrome except the annoying and broken bits are not there.

The main thing being the lack of that stupid chrome cleanup tool that seems to find a way to run no matter how many policies and registry entries to change to try and stop it.
But also, no site I've been to yet has complained I'm blocking ads - those are getting nearly as annoying as the ads.
Lower memory usage.
The steam store works properly. The past several weeks images and videos have started breaking in chrome after opening several store pages - until you closed and re-opened the browser.

I'm not even fussed about it's main selling point - the privacy thing. But it's a nice bonus I guess.

I've been using this for about a week, I'm liking it so far. At the same time I've set up Pi-hole on a Raspberry Pi (1st gen!) that I wasn't using. So far, great experience.

Only thing I'd like that is missing is to be able to sync my bookmarks with Safari (not tried Brave yet on iOS).
