Lost in Space [Netflix]

Fun looking reboot of the show coming in April from Netflix, looking forward to this.

Saw this advertised earlier, hoping it will be good as I've ran out of new series to watch at the moment.

Looks good, is this a proper original? As in, whole series dumped on the same day? Can't be faffed waiting a week at a time

This could be a politically correct version.

Watched first episode, it's a little boring but the robot does the say the thing you want the robot to say. I'll give it a couple more episodes to see how it goes.

Watched the 1st ep. its ok, has promise and going to watch more. It does have a nice film look for a tv show. the robot thing mentioned in the last post was a bit forced and cheesy.

Also better than the "dumped on netflix" films

Strong first episode, a little difficult to get going but the second half was fantastic. The family don't seem all that warm to each other.
Excellent introduction for Dr Smith!
Will definitely not binge through this and pace myself, always makes for a better viewing experience.

I only have super vague memories of watching the original show on Sunday lunch times when I was little. A robot, an annoying little kid, evil doctor who was very campy.

The 1998 Matt LeBlanc movie came out when I was a teenager, so naturally I kind of loved it when I first saw it. Now I can just say it was because of Heather Graham.

Saw first episode and hated it. I am a fan of the original series and somehow disliked every one of the characters in this new series. I'll not be going back.

Did anyone spot the original Will Robinson - Bill Mumy as the proper Dr Smith, lovely touch.

on episode 3 now, the theme for the intro credits is a bit generic and the imagery is like something from enterprise, you could put faith of the heart over it

Its good they did something from Dr Smith although finding Will and Judy annoying at times. Wonder how much the certain biscuit company paid for the product placement

I thought the first episode was quite poor.

It was just running from one drama to the next but had no sense of urgency.

etc, etc.

I think the use of flashbacks interspersed throughout didn't help, but I dislike that in general.

I gave this a bit more of a go and it's not for me. There's too much family drama and the kids are insufferable.

Exactly my thoughts. Not even a nice family at that.
