Some really nice football again from us. It's definitely getting better even if results have been harsh.

I know Rojo has got away with a couple of bad tackles recently. But the ref has bottled it with Rondon and Rojo - 'a booking each', well Rojo did absoubtly nothing, and quite frankly should have smacked him on the nose.

Moyes talking ******** before the game:

David Moyes: Manchester United's great traditions have gone says Sunderland boss - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38424155

United broke many of the historical transfer records, so I don't know what he's on about. We're not carrying on SAF's mid term trend of promoting from within, but he wasn't shy about getting the chequebook out.

Bitter.

I stopped taking the interview seriously when in one breath he berates United for spending big, and in the next claims he bid more for Bale than Madrid got him for.

Bitter.

There is a rather large chunk of irony in that.

I think there are a lot of myths about United and their traditions, mostly because they had an exceptional manager who delivered results. If you stick with the same guy for decades, and he did well. It's a bit of a freak occurence, but in reality it means you missed the foreign manager invasion that didn't really exist in the 80's. Hardly a tradition.

Besides, when did Moyes become an Elder Statesman of United ways? He's the reason they got rid of the "British Manager" culture

The Manchester Utd Thread 2015/2016

I really hope we smash them. Not because they are Sunderland, but because he's in charge. He destroyed our traditions - our winning traditions, under him every team thought they could win at OT, and many did.

We wrote into his contract that he needed to finish top 4 minimum - that's why he got sacked. If we had given him more time we would be mid-table and would never have attracted Pogba, Zlatan etc.

I hope we boo the hell out of him on boxing day, he's not fit to ever have been associated with Man Utd.

He wasn't top of my list! I just wish he would stop talking about Utd and we could both move on. He was a complete failure, but could have walked away with a level of dignity, and we would have thanked him for trying (not that he was qualified for the job) but now I utterly dispise him. Merry Christmas and all that!!

What am I paying Sky & BT for??????? This last week I have been looking forward to the football today. I look on the football page & there is nothing on either channel. Hull - City hardly wets the lips. Then next week the same. I have an Android box but I find the quality hit & miss. So next year beIN it is.

PS good luck on those going to matches today, there are near as damn no trains. Well done football so called bosses. *****.

No trains is hardly the fault of the FA and Premier League. Boxing Day football has been a tradition for decades.

Having said that, I am sure there was an agreement to minimise fan travel today. Not sure if that is still in place.

Plenty of streams/addons will showing all of today's games so no real need to panic.

I would be more 'worried' about how Sky/BT are ruining of the fairness of the Christmas fixtures - there was an article on the BBC the other day showing that Chelsea have twice as many hours, between the start and end of their 3 games, than Southampton.

Without re checking I believe both Liverpool matches are being shown on either Sky or BT over this season.

They are - though I have no idea why the home game V Stoke (tomorrow) is worthy of TV coverage which is the only reason it is not being played today.

LFC v Man City is another matter entirely

Didn't think it lasted long - IIRC it worked well the season they announced it but then TV probably moaned that it produced dull fixtures unless they turned it into a derby day which would then produce too many TV worthy fixtures

Agree about Moyes. Always thought he had kept a brave dignified silence since he was booted out but he's gone and blown that with his latest interview.

Still don't think we should boo him.
