I think you could chance it, it's unlikely to be a random seat dumped in the middle of their most hardened supporters. More likely to be in a block of seats given away to random people, probably a fair few would be supporting United, purely on the law of averages I'd have thought or fairly indifferent.

Yes!! I got my tickets through today. Hoping for a better experience than last year - was in the Villa end when then got humped 4-0.

They certainly would not have 'expected' the wheels to have fallen off.
Fair enough. Investment does, sadly, generally correlate with points so it's a reasonable stance.

It would be at half time if that was the case!

Maybe he's hoping to leave on a bit of a high? But it doesn't sound like he has had the memo, LVG seemed pretty defiant the other day.

Either way it'll be pretty crass of the club hierarchy to announce the new guy like that straight after the match.

I'm expecting Palace to be thrashed today. ManU for an easy win. 4 - 0.

Memories of Spurs and Martin Jol - it was a Europa League night at WHL and the fans knew he'd been sacked before he did. Awful.

Yep it would be a pretty poor show if that happened.

By all means sack him after the match, it's a pretty low thing to do, but fair enough. But parading the new guy would be abysmal, as it'd just show that he couldn't have done anything to save his job and they'd obviously had him lined up for a while.

Maybe they're hoping for an FA Cup loss to be an excuse to get rid?

I think his contract stipulated we had to finish top 4, so the cup is irrelevant, it will just be a nice end if we win.

If we lift the cup I would be happy if they announced the prats dismissal at the moment he lifted the cup after the way he has ****** us up over the last two seasons.

I agree, LVG does not fit well with United...the prospect of Maureen does not fill me with optimism though
