Don'y worry if you have been on Planet Non as it will be announced

LVG thinks it's been made up

So conjecture is news now?

Like I said, when it's announced on the beeb...

CL qualification is still not out of the question. However, I think LVG will be off regardless.

If Mourinho ends up being the manager, then this will be another shoddy bit of behind-the-scenes dealing from the club.

Love or hate LVG, he shouldn't have to have this going on in his ear. If they don't want him, sack him.

Agreed. I still genuinely like the guy and respect what he has done in the past.
They knew (should have known), what he was like before they hired him. The board can't turn round now and blame him for doing what he's always done.
It's like they hired him on the back of the world cup result against Spain, without any awareness of his previous posts.
I blame Woodward, for this amongst other things. I'd bin him before LVG.

Woodward, the man who has a phenomenal track record of commercial agreements? Yes, on the pitch performance is the most important factor, but I am pleased that whilst we have been utter rubbish at least other parts of the club are doing well.

I do feel for chairman/ CEOs in this situation, as what is he meant to do? I can't remember who was available 2 years ago. LVG seemed like a good choice?

In terms of LVG, we accepted the dross last year, as he was implementing his philosophy. But its worse this year, at other clubs he was successful, doesn't look like he will be at Utd. He stopped the rot of Moyes, but has failed to take us to the next level. Gone on the summer.

According to TalkSport they reckon Jose' is a done deal and he's taking Terry with him to bolster your defence.

Terry! No chance. Our defence is on, do need another CB, but not one that old, he and smalling would not work well. Behind, I really couldn't imagine him being accepted at Utd, or him wanting to go.

Reading between the lines, I always presumed the Terry / Jose relationship was part of the problem at Chelsea the end of last / this season.

Surely that's just a bit of mischief, designed to boil blood down the King's Road?

It actually blew my mind when I heard ex-professional players even speculating on it to be honest

Has Terry run out of WAGs at The Bridge?

Nothing new there as a lot of deals are done behind-the-scenes and the supporters are the last to know.

All the stuff about LVG is just a way of having an excuse to get rid of him,so watch out for the excuse they do give when the time comes.

So an early exit from the CL and failure to qualify for next year's competition isn't reason to sack him?

I wouldn't be surprised if he had a clause in his contract that specifies that a top 4 finish is a minimum requirement.

Absolutely if his contract says that, so when he fails to qualify then sack him and begin the hunt for a new manager. Like they did with Moyes. You don't spend the time before that touting around other managers for the job. It might be a long shot, but he might still qualify.

Either way, does it matter much? wasn't the deal with moyes he only got a years payoff, if he only has one year left, does it make any difference?

We are one stupid mistake away from being too far behind to catch up, both in this match and in this league.

Frustrating to watch this so far.
