City had a perfetly good manager in place. We should have got rid of van hell & at least had a tempory manager, by now they could have announced who the new manager was. As it is no decent player will touch us with a barge pole.

It's a fair point though, who's going to sign early when they don't know who the manager will be?

He won't leave of he wins the cup and gets 4th. Maybe move to a senior role and make Giggs first team coach?

But then why had Jose not sorted himself for next year? It doesn't add up.

So our players have to play an important game having gone through a near riot. It should be abandoned & the points awarded to United.

Here.

Sullivan says the coach wasn't touched when the images on the BBC clearly show otherwise.

United turn up late - AGAIN. Will the FA do anything? Will they ****.

Loving the 'negative' comments about all the media love for Upton Park compared to the lack of it when Arsenal, City, Stoke, etc all moved.

Traffic isn't a good enough excuse for being late for a fixture for the 2nd time in recent weeks.

It's OK, David Sullivan says it's our fault for not getting there early.

What a bunch of muppets.

I think that it's simply a case of Premier League-related hype ratcheting up year on year. Things that happen today are reported as "sensational" even when they've happened before. Case in point: Leicesters "unprecedented" league title victory [See Nottingham Forest for a precedent].

In other news, both Martial and Rashford start.

Never have I wanted us to win at Upton Park so much. **** your Boleyn ground, you knuckle dragging scum.

What is their excuse for arriving late again? And causing another delayed kick off?

Teams have 90 minutes leeway IIRC. There really is no excuse.

Yes to United, they know what time the match kicks off and presumably they've picked up some understanding of traffic at football grounds. If they turn up late, mess the TV schedules up and the fans, there should be consequences. Or to be honest, they should just be made to play at the normal time.

People slate Madonna when she turns up late.

And what should happen to West Ham, pray tell?

AFAIK United should have arrived at 6:15.

As others have said ... there is no excuse, it is not the first time this season they have done it, Sly must be seething. I don't know how anyone can think United should go unpunished.

They got there late. Fine them. OK?

Now what are we going to do about the happy go lucky, cheeky chappies who were dragging the game back into the seventies at the same time?

Or ... if United had arrived on time then nothing would have happened and the points should go to West Ham

United coach was outside the ground at least at 7:07pm. It's not traffic, they were there in plenty of time, they just couldn't get off the coach and into the stadium.
