Once again Fellaini comes in and does his best to save you! As said, at least he looks like he gives a stuff, he saved Belgium in the world cup, there's a reason they keep him around.

I suppose it was a second string in the league cup, can't imagine this being the final straw for JM. He can now concentrate on finishing 6th in the league.

As bad as anything we've seen post-Fergie.
The money on that pitch alone should be getting us a draw.

We're nowhere near, the club is run more like a T-shirt shop than a football team.

Pogba to go on strike? Mourinho to be sacked this week?? Disgraceful things happening at United, it seems things are finally coming to a head...thankfully. Something has to happen after our worst start in 29 years, I'm hoping Maureen gets the sack...trouble is, who'll replace him?

Zidane apparently, although not sure a Galactico who's only experience is of managing Galacticos is the solution.

Getting rid of José would be a start, but there's more than just him that's wrong. The player power is worrying and Ed needs to go too. Someone has to carry the can for the last three managerial appointment failures and the failure in the transfer market.

Completely agree with this and have no idea why fans and the press are touting him as a suitable replacement??

Hardy a proven manager, managed one of the best squads in the world for three seasons - try coming here with this squad and no transfer funds.

It's been pointed out on the BBC this morning that Moyes and Van Gaal were only sacked when it was mathematically impossible for United to get a top 4 spot. Is there any reason why they'll play it differently with their current manager?

Our management has acted like idiots since Fergie left, probably before. No other top team would have kept managers on so long while failing so miserably. Neither Barca' or Real Madrid management, or fans would have would have put up with the 5 years we have had to. Enough is enough. That goes for the management, the manager & the players.

It'll cost the owners too much to sack him now.
They don't care about results, to a certain extent, at least not while the goose is still laying the golden eggs.

I don't recall the other two being like this though? Didn't Moyes get sacked when he did because it avoided paying some sort of compensation? They sacked LVG after winning the FA Cup and clearly having tapped up JM all season to replace him.

This isn't the same is it? He's doing the classic "please sack me" routine he's done at other clubs. Slagging off the players, it's quite clear that Pogba is on the verge of leaving/striking, etc.

This isn't Moyes taking a while to get going after Fergie, it's a different scenario.

As for ZZ taking over and why him

1. He's available
2. He might take the job

Not sure who else you're going to get unless it's Sam Allardyce.

I've wanted Larry White since he left PSG, 'knows' the club, plays decent football, ticks all the boxes for me.
