Can we now stop complaining about all referee decisions going against you?

Can't believe we won that - Southampton were generally excellent all game (though not defensively, obviously) and I sure they must feel absolutely sick having not won that.

Mariner concerned me in the way he was throwing cards around for most of the match, but at least he had the sense to calm himself rather than give Jesse and Romeu the second yellows that they probably both could have had (Romeu deserved a second booking a couple of times at least) - final warnings at an occasion like a cup final seems reasonable.

But my god do we owe that linesman a drink or two - apparently it's karma for their goal in 1976 though

You mean I had to wait 41 years for that.

Don't be daft - they'll be United fans who will claim that they didn't get any favourable decisions yesterday and haven't had a single one all season

It was ... partly. You can not deny there on plenty of people on here who claim United haven't had any luck with refereeing decisions this season (or rather more bad luck than good)

There was a spell when it seemed that way, but it appears to be evening out now.

Just a heads-up that Saturdays match against Bournemouth will be viewable for free on SkySportsMix/HD channel...for those that care/have basic Sky package.

Indeed, some really bad decisions earlier in the season, will take a slice of luck!

It really did annoy me though that Tyler kept going on about the Southampton should have had a hat-trick... clearly not, if he had that goal allowed, we don't know what would have happened, but can be sure he wouldn't have scored the two he did in exactly the way he did. If a third goal was disallowed, then yes he would have been denied a hat-trick.

Anyway pleased to win, a good team grinds out results when not playing well, hopefully a concerted push into top 4 will continue.

Can't help feel had Rashford started instead of Martial we'd be a couple up by now...playing really well though

Unbelievably 1-1...Bournemouth down to 10 for a nasty stamp on Zlatan, who probably should also have gone for retribution elbow. Surely to god we have to batter them second half...bring on Rash!

So, both players should have been sent off? , no sorry Mings should have gone for the stamp end of story, then ibra would have elbowed thin air

Actually, it seems it wasn't the guy who stamped on Zlatan, it was the guy who subsequentially pushed him over after he elbowed the other player...confused, I know I am?!

...this is one strange game

Agree with Cara and Henry. If someone stamped on my head, I would go and lamp them.

From a Utd perspective, I hope the ref saw it so there can't be a retrospective 3 match ban, and I hope Mings gets banned, he's a coward.

Can't believe we are not winning this.

Anything other than a win would be a total disaster...playing against 10 men ain't easy but we're more than capable, although we don't seem at quite the same tempo second half!

It's the strangest game. We should be out of sight. A lot of the fire from both teams has disappeared second half.

edit: I'll take that, but this ref has been totally dominated by the players. Hopeless.
