Another great kickstarter here where the shipping just hurts...
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects...-game?ref=48hr

I'd go for it, but the shipping just pushes it over what i want to pay - takes it from £25 to nearly £40

I'd seen that, and was thinking of jumping on board - looks like a great one to get the kids having fun with However, those shipping costs are insane

That's what I was thinking - for when my little one is a bit older. Ah well

also not shown as EU friendly so any order - especially a group one - would probably incur import tax too

still will probably get a commercial release over here

You might find the dinosaur meeple turn up in the BGG store in future. No guarantee of course.

I'd imagine that if they did, by the time you'd purchased them along with the pith helmet meeple you'd probably be paying the same overall price as this with the shipping. The Kickstarter entry suggests they got burnt on shipping for their last game, so maybe they're just being over cautious this time round

Shame they don't say when they're shipping. I'll be in the US in Feb but doubt it'll be ready by then...

This looks fun and it says it's EU friendly.

looks good but seems a bit expensive for a deck of cards -if it had been $15 plus shipping definitely but $25 seems too much for what you get.

stingy old git that I am

Anyone been following Side Quest - Pocket Adventures at all?

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects...ket-adventures

Can't quite make my mind up about it, would be easier if £15 all in, but I think they want shipping on top of that too

Oooh, that actually's got me interested. Still bit pricey for me as most Kickstarter's, might look into picking it up after release if it turns out well.
